We had a huge day driving along the Andes Mountains through the Siloli Desert in Bolivia. We started bright and early watching the sunrise from some crazy looking rock formations, flew the drone over permanent geysers in a volcanic crater at 16,000 feet, saw 20,000 flamingos in the Red Lagoon, visited the Blue Lagoon, and ended the day overlooking 9,000 square kilometers of rock formations!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on RUclips, such as: +CaseyNeistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown , and any other talented travel vloggers that RUclips’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)

That guide, Carlos is great, very knowledgeable !!!
+Travel and Vino he was incredible!
That's exactly what I was coming to the comments to post! I love that sort of guide, who can help me geek out over the science.
The drone was worth paying for just this footage alone! Stunning work you guys 😊
Your travel locations and talented filming (the footage, editing, and selection of music) is so inspiring. I am an older traveler (young at heart!) and my daily dose of your videos not only revs up desire travel more often but makes an upbeat way to start the day. Ignore the negative comments and keep doing what you are doing!
Carlos is absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable! Love this, I has to be one of my favorites so far!
love you two...your videos each day are like taking my vitamins...something I need to do. Like vitamins, they make me feel better. Loving the drone...
I am Brand spanking new at watching travel vlogs. less than one month. I have watched only handful of other channels but your videos are superb! The quality, music, narratives and how you allow your guides to speak as well and explain what's what is just a pleasure as well as informative. Both of you show just how much class you have in being respectful and excited about the places you visit. I am going to South America in May and visiting some of the places you've visited so I am grateful to have some insight. WONDERFUL job Kara and Nate!
So you're only 1,600 feet lower than you were at Everest Base Camp? That is amazing.
Other-worldly scenery. I'm so grateful I get to see and learn about it.
I love your tour guide! I could listen to him all day!
The drone footage has taken it from always fun because you are a nice couple to visually spectacular. Good music choices too.
YEAH! Marcus nails it! The music is so great, and it always fits so perfectly with the different parts of your videos! You guys certainly have set the bar quite high for other travelers. We don't watch them. haha
Watch this one just for the footage after 8:00! He flies his drone through holes in the rock! The drone shot of them at the top of that huge rock is epic! WOW!
My gosh - I never knew South America had so much beauty, which is silly, I suppose, because - hello? - Nature! I think it's because mainstream media always shows the jungle portions along the Amazon and that's all my head ever associated South America with. I'm happy you've shared this country with everyone. Bolivia definitely has much to be proud of. And now the mountainous regions of South America are making it onto my Bucket List. Great work, you two - even if I am posting four years after this originally uploaded.
Wow, those rock formations are so cool! Also thoroughly enjoyed the quinoa info segment.
You two should do a photo book of all the beautiful places and unique animals you have seen around the world.
Wow the views the pictures that was great !! I cannot stop watching all your shows keep traveling
I love these South America videos so much
What an amazing planet we live on‼‼
Absolutely stunning images. On my bucket list
Love the drone work in all of these new videos!
Nate you’re awesome at flying the drone!!!!!
This has been my favourite area yet, everything here is so stunning
Just 😲😲😲🤯🤯🤯 mind blowing...
You would have asked me to visit Bolivia and I would have answered why? but now I understand - everyplace and everything so far is amazing 🤩
I always enjoy your videos. I've watched your videos in the Philippines and it has inspired me to explore more there. I do have a fiance and daughter there, I go there twice a year.
Wow stunning drone footage Nate
P.S. the drone footage was fantastic....you do a good job!
The vlog quality is increasing with each video! Beautiful music and drone footage!
Fabulous scenery
how did this video not get 1 million views. I am in love with every shot you've taken in this video.
okay how is every video they uploaded not have 1 million views??!!!!
Carlos seems like he was amazing! Hopefully the day I am able to make it out there he will still be a guide
Nate is getting adventures with his drone. For someone who reported the camera being fine before Kara's big bruise 😂😂
Another fab vlog, thank you.
Im from Philippines and it is always a dream of me to visit south America. Only south America can offer best adventure of nature.
Maria Petersen i prefer only south America to visit someday.
Cracking 👍🏻 how many spare drone blades you got 😆
Love the drone footage again. Any issues with the drone and elevation?
+Brown Chair Photography surprisingly no issues with elevation or volcanic steam haha
Wow...it was like God took a paint brush and painted that beautiful valley where the rocks were...WOW!!...BIG HUGS FROM IDAHO
Hey what kind of boots are you guys using? Would you recommend them? THANKS! Keep up the great work!
Isnt the world amazing ❤
Those rock formations remind me of the ones in Kansas you drove to in your van video a few weeks ago.
👍Magnificent 👍💜
Fun following you along on Google maps. Amazing locations and sights. Are these Andean or Chilean flamingos? They seem large so maybe Greater Flamingos?
the drone footage is amazing, talk about a good investment lol.
Beautiful!!! mahalo
Just Fantastic Work guys! Really inspired by your travels. May I ask you guys when you are moving onto Asia (in particular India) ? Thank You so much for your Vlogs!
Incredible content, but slightly jealous :)
+Camille Saint-Saëns thanks!
how do you stop for a wee in the desert?? now south america is on my list and has moved up quite a lot!!
Your guide was awesome! What was his name? That place looks like Mars. Very beautiful.
wow. I need not say anymore than that.
Loving your latest videos guys, can't wait to get to Bolivia! How did the drone cope flying at altitude? We have the same one and wondered if it was possible to use it at EBC?
The area with all the steam coming up reminds me of Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii, steaming constantly from various vents.
2:14 - You must mean lake is at 4300m.
Ok, this might be an extremely stupid question, but how the heck did you guys climb that rock?? I assume it’s more easily climbed from the back side of it.
b e auuuutiful
Kara says arsenic like its sugar or something! Adorable !
Those rocks remind me of Assassin's Creed Origins.
beautiful :)
This is unreal....do the cars have to have any specialized equipment to allow them to function normally driving that high up?
2nd comment😀👍
damnit Kara....you are so cute LMAO ..."cheeeeese"
what is jason segel doing in bolivia ? lol
Flying a drone at 16000 feet is probably some kind of record.
What's the music at 7:13. I really like it x
Stefan Stuart I spotifyed it and it said sleepwalking at 5 by Andrew Applepie! :)
Thank You, such a lovely song! x
if you love heights drive to world highest road in India at 19300 ft
1st..lol
I agree with one of the comments below that it's getting a bit repetitive. Also, I have watched pretty much all of your videos, and while the new videos are amazing in edit, quality and drone footage, it just feels very commercial. I think everything seems so perfect and shows how well organized the tour companies are -which is great, but honestly your earlier videos were more like how travelling really is with a partner with the ups and downs. The South America part started off like that, but slowly just became all about adventures being organized by others. Still, a fan of your vlogs, so will always enjoy watching them, but just want to express my thoughts and wish that it feels a bit less commercial going forward.
crazy4mus I disagree!! The drone footage has made the vlogs soooo cool. Also them working with companies is how they are able to maintain full time travel and create these vlogs. They have to do the companies justice and fulfill their end of the deal. I think the vlogs are getting better. I of course love their old vlogs too but it doesn't mean they will always make vlogs just one way. They can have more than one "style". It would be pretty restricting if they had to stick to one way of doing vlogs forever.
Sarah DiPiazza I am totaly agree with you. From my point of view there videos are getting better and better.
Sarah DiPiazza Sure, about the drone footage and edit and quality, like I said, it is amazing and I really appreciate the investment and effort that has gone into getting here, and no way denying that. But I guess, I found the vlog becoming slightly commercial (and honestly, they seem genuine about fulfilling their end of the deal with the various adventure companies- which is also great). And yes, while I acknowledge that it is important to have commercial relationships when doing full time travel, there is a bit too much of it for me in the last few videos. I don't expect them to make vlogs all just one way and there will be evolution of style and they have a better understanding of what will work for them, I just wanted to state that I found the earlier videos better, it gives me the viewer, more of a perspective of what to expect when travelling to many of these places/lounges/hotels on a regular budget, as opposed to seeing vlogs about expensive customized tours.
crazy4mus, and how are they supposed to do that--cut the guide out of the vlogs, and mislead us into thinking they organized these trips on their own? That would be rather dishonest, wouldn't it?
I’m watching from the beginning so I don’t know if the trips have changed since then, but from my perspective that’s jut a circumstance of the type of trips they’re taking and locations they’re visiting at this point in South America, I expect them to go back to the way they were when they’re visiting cities, not going on tours, etc. I don’t mind the variety.
The asian vlogs were so much better and cooler to watch, all the food lounges :(
It's bit boring now watching same places
Sorry guys. I have to stop viewing these vlogs. Just like other said, it is too repetitive for me...your videos lately is missing people lounges and foods. You still my favor travel RUclipsrs however.
Louis Y you're gonna stop watching them? Really? They can't please everyone! And they're branching out and doing different and more creative things. Clearly it's working because their channel keeps growing...
Sarah DiPiazza drone to me is a distraction, specially too much of it. Ever watch other travel vloggers? 30k after 2 years are low actually... don't get me wrong .... I love them... these sponsorships really limited their activities or to me staying in my place way too long... i will come back when they moved to different places
Louis Y to each their own, Louis
Louis Y Actually they have only been vlogging for just over a year so their sub count is pretty good.
@@earkid7246 now over 2.8m
Not sure I like the fact you are asking people to support your channel by donating money for what is basically a never ending vacation. On top of that you are getting paid by sponsors and receiving so many free excursions ad hotel rooms. A bit much!
