But the technology is manufactured mostly in China with companies that employ foreign nationals, initially using equipment from Germany and the USA, but these days they use equipment made in China too, but they still employ components made in Europe and the USA. So to answer simply, it originated in the USA and now is made in China. There are many such companies like this in China.
