    Wow I am really impressed with these trailers. The suspension alone is a game changer let alone the layout and design of the trailer in general which breaks away from the traditional box on wheels.

    This is a pretty sweet trailer. Similar to the size and cost of a tear drop but you have a full inside trailer area! Over 500 watts of solar is insane too.

    This trailer fits my personal needs. Maybe a tad short. Looks like it might even fit in an 8 foot garage. If it was available a few years ago I would have considered it. It does amaze me that trailer like this could be made in China, shipped to USA with quality componets, dealer mark ups and sell for quite a bit less than comparable us rigs. It has to boil down to the US dollar strength, mass production and a very, very cheap labor force.
    Update- no wet bath so comparble us rigs maybe not that much more.

    • @ROAOffRoad
      @ROAOffRoad  11 месяцев назад

      Yes it is below 8ft. It is a great floor plan and being able to stand up in it comfortably is awesome 😊

    My wife and I are coming into the market for a trailer for our Gladiator. We love the Forte 9, however no air conditioner? We live on the Gulf Coast in Texas so that’s a must.

    This has to be made in the same Chinese factory as OBI Dwellers. We had one and the outer construction and various parts are identical.

    • @ILL_Equipt
      @ILL_Equipt 9 месяцев назад

      Also, such and such vehicle “can tow it” is different than towing off-road. I bought a dweller 13’ to tow behind my Gladiator Rubicon based on these guys recommendations and videos. It was a nightmare off-road! Be careful what you choose based on where you’re trying to go.

    • @ROAOffRoad
      @ROAOffRoad  9 месяцев назад

      They are not made in the same factory. MDC had been manufacturing for 19 years.
      OBI has been around for 2-3 years.
      They are very different when you dig into them. MDC is much higher quality.

    • @ILL_Equipt
      @ILL_Equipt 9 месяцев назад

      @@ROAOffRoad Still made in China. Not sure how they are “higher” quality when they use the same construction and components. You guys swore OBI was high quality too when you introduced them, but they aren’t selling.

      The really cool thing about the Forte 9 is that it can store under 8ft, only 3000 pounds and you can stand up in it. And the added storage and table bench area is nice for eating and doing remote work. Included annex room as well that really expands the space

    These aussies don’t know what an HVAC is. If they want to sell their off road trailers here in the US, they should start thinking about off grid off road and not just off road. Put a 12 volt AC and more Lithium batteries and you’ll be more interesting but right now my fellow off roaders campers and myself will pass. Also, ridiculous names and cheesy graphics is really a no go. They should copy Bruder or Lifestyle Campers and learn from them, they know how to make real off grid campers that fit the US weather, geography and needs of the US market and their campers don’t look like a camper from the 80’s.

    • @ROAOffRoad
      @ROAOffRoad  11 месяцев назад +2

      They don’t look like campers from the 80s? The insides are very modern and just as nice as Bruder or any other trailer on the market. The outside decals can be changed easily. Also to compare them to trailers that are $150k to $200k is kinda unfair when these trailers cost $30-$60k.
      Your pretty negative. The only thing that you point out that should be taken seriously is the outside decals being a little too much. Adding more battery is easy if you pay for it. Also, I think you should only speak for yourself and not others. 😄
