While in Falkirk seeing the kelpies did u go see the Worlds 1st and only boatlift the Falkirk wheel? ( Google, if u missed it, it uses less power than 9 kettles) 😂 also IRN-BRU originally from Falkirk too
As an English ex-delivery driver, whenever my boss said " You're off to Scotland for a couple of days " I was always well pleased, stayed in various hotels, and B+Bs loved it. Stunning scenery and friendly people, even in Glasgow lol.
LOL!! I am Scottish and I don't often get to Glasgow as I'm on the east coast but I'm always struck by how friendly Glasgow actually is it's much friendlier than Edinburgh for example
@lespaddick6248 Lol! Especially being a Londoner, we're not very well liked, lol, but the Glaswegians were great, tough, down to earth people, I felt comfortable and right at home. I miss those days ☹️
I live in North of England but get to go to Edinburgh very regularly for work. I am very lucky to have such an amazing country so close. A fantastic place with cracking people 🏴🤜🏼🤛🏼🏴
I live in Suffolk, South eastern England. I did a trip to Scotland with a mate right around the top. Its my favourite place I've ever been, I'm not well travelled so do not have many places to compare too. However the scenery, the nature. It just felt so good everywhere i went.
@@stuartbutcher2642 Yeah I live just outside of the town, Sadly the town is a little dead and deprived now, still lots of history and a few nice places if you know where to look.
Thank you for such a lovely review. Im a proud Glaswegian and love watching visitors touring our country and taking in all that we offer in this country. Haste ye back !!
Glad you's enjoyed it up here in our country. Glasgow born and bred and love your enthusiasm. As you will know, there's a lot of history connecting our dear country to the United States, and that was nice of your friends to show you around.
You two bring such joy to all of your excursions. And of course it follows that you'd attract two of the most fun people in the UK! And Everly just gets more adorable (and fun like her folks!) every time I see her. I'm not wishing time away, but I can't wait to watch her grow up!
Hand on heart. I love these videos. Ashamedly, You’ve seen more of the UK than I have. Definitely inspiring me to jump in the car and cross the border up to Bonny Scotland!
Heck yeah!!! I'm glad we can push you to head up to such a lovely countryside. Just enjoy each moment when you do it. You are lucky to live so close, and the UK, in general, is pretty freaking amazing. That goes for the land and for the people.

Feel free too ask me anything about Scotland and where one should visit! Haste ye back!
Scotland is great. It's just such a shame that the climate sucks. There's such a small window of the year where you can comfortably utilise the outdoors, unless you are fine with constant drizzle and wind. If we had a more continental European climate on our Isles, it'd be perfect.
Hi Guys, nice to see your video, we met you in the pub by Loch Ness, ( we were the couple talking to Chris & Marianna in the pub), glad you had a great trip.
The Kelpies are down the road from me, not sure if you would have seen the other things here in Falkirk and not shown it in the vid. The worlds only rotating boat lift is a little farther along the canal from the Kelpies the other side of town called The Falkirk Wheel and the route along between them is the Antonine wall, it was the northern border of the Roman empire for 20 years, they never finished building it. William Wallace best friend was laid to rest at the churchyard in the middle of town, he fell in the battle of Falkirk 1298, Wallace monument is a little farther north in Stirling.
@@lespaddick6248 They never built it as a tourist site, it was part of the redevelopment of the canals, folk started to turn up and see it and they had to build a cafe and things after lol
FnA, I found myself smiling and chuckling out loud as I watched you experiencing Scotland with such pure, unfiltered joy. When we were stationed in Berlin, we traveled every chance we had! Its so lovely to watch visitors enjoy scotland as much as we do, I met a lovely Italian couple in loch lomand . Myself and my friend gave them a shot of our paddleboards, it was wonderful seeing them laugh and have a waterfight with the paddles 😂❤
You came up as a suggestion and I watched and subscribed. Your wee one is such a sweetheart ❤❤❤ super cute! Glad you enjoyed it here… I’m convinced it wasn’t recent because it’s Baltic just now and I feel like the loch would be -700 degrees C.

Great video, I love your enthusiam for Scotland 😀. We live just North of Inverness and often bump into visitors from America when out and about and love to hear their story and chat with them about what brought them to Scotland when there are so many other (warmer and drier 😆) places they could visit, sometimes this works out and sometimes they think we are some sort of grifters that are trying to sell them someting or con them which is funny 😂, glad you enjoyed the Haggis .

Subpar Parks is one of my favorite Instagram accounts! 🤣 I'm with Frankie, haggis is delicious! 😋 Then again, I liked the salad cream so maybe take that into account. 🤣🤣
4:39 in the chapel around the edge of the ceiling there are squares with strange symmetrical patterns on them…was less than 15yrs ago they were decoded as the shape of musical notes…if you get a drum and put sand on it, then hit the drum the sand will settle in these patterns 11:14 the horse chestnut tree is an endangered species of tree

Ahh, Haggis varys so much from place to place. Spicy Haggis is the best. Balmoral Chicken is next up, but i love a Strathmore blackpuding with tart blackberry sauce.
We got married in the great hall at Bamburgh castle, followed by _incredible_ sausage rolls from that bakery with Bollinger on the battlements and then reception in the cricket pavilion with a fish n chip van.
Love Glen Coe the scenery is stunning. On a bus tour of my own country the driver pointed out a possible place where the McDonald's clan house once stood. They found ancient coins on the site so they believe this is where they lived.
I live up in Inverness! I used to live in Fort William but it's a stinkhole lmao a bit sad that the haggis was so drenched by the sauce since the sauce is where a lot of your complaints came from it seemed lol If you ever explore more I highly suggest the West Highland coastline along Route 500. It's beautiful but I'd recommend late spring to late summer (late spring for the new growth, late summer for the heather)
It's a shame you didn't get to Loch Ness via Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor and Glencoe - that journey, for scenery, is one of the best without going too far north.
I've always wanted to see the kelpie sculpture. They are shapeshifting demons which appear as a lonely horse and whenever anyone gets too close them. they bite or grab the victim and try to drown them in the nearby river. Sometimes they appear as a handsome man or beautiful woman if the horse ruse doesn't work. I love a bit of folklore :D

Ive bookmarked to wztch when home... if you are on your travels I highly suggesy the Scottish Outer Hebridean Islands. Cheap ferry across, then a cossway road bridge you cannisland hop across all the islands. The famous Callanish Stones are here, older than the pyramids and even stonehenge. Errected by the natives who also errected Stonehedge whichnis now mistaken as English as they colinise the south of the island.
Haggis should never stick to the roof of your mouth. That is the inappropriate sauce that has done that to it. A well seasoned haggis with neeps and tatties doesn't really need a sauce, but if you absolutely must add something to it, then rowan or redcurrant jelly is the way to go.

6 minutes in. My girlfriend and I visited the Kelpies in February. They really tower over you.
So pleased I stumbled across your channel guys and glad you love Scotland as much as I do. It's stunning isn't it? Have a like and a Subscribe 😊
Scotland is amazing for van life - you feel soooo welcome! Fully enjoyed by new friend Millionaire Paul 👋
Haggis should never stick to the roof of your mouth. That is the inappropriate sauce that has done that to it. A well seasoned haggis with neeps and tatties doesn't really need a sauce, but if you absolutely must add something to it, then rowan or redcurrant jelly is the way to go.
I hope you enjoyed Scotland its so beautiful there so much to see ❤❤
I live just outside of Inverness. It's always nice to see people enjoying our country
Great little travelog of my beautiful country.
How the hell did you eat SO MUCH lunch?!!!

That's an epic butcher like. Great pies.
You were only in Loch Ness for seconds. If you'd spent a longer time in the water you'd have certainty been taken by The Monster.
hahaha. we can say that is why we got out so fast lol
