THE SHREDED LOOK MEETS SHAPE INDEPENDENT.The expression “Comme des Garçons” is a French phrase meaning “like some boys.” However, the meaning of the saying doesn’t refer to boys in its modern context. “Comme des Garçons” is a Japanese fashion brand operating out of the fashion capital of the world, Paris. Kawakubo founded the company in the late 1960s in Tokyo, Japan. He got the inspiration for the brand name from a song, “All the Boys and Girls,” performed and recorded by Francoise Hardy. “Comme des Garçons” is also the name of a popular Broadway show. The play uses structured but exaggerated silhouettes to express emotions to the crowd. “Comme des Garçons” was the initiator of the “distressed” look for fashion garments and one of the first brands to introduce “ripped jeans.” SO-- THEREFORE SHREDED AND SHAPE INDEPENDENT SHOWING DEFIANT EMOTIONS TO THE AUDIENCE AS STREET ART!
Yup! The buzzards are at devil's den laying eggs one dropped thense I went back to our cabin with Craig's.. I went on a return vacation with Linda more......for' thinking..😮
Unspeakable for the spiritual connotations in fashion presented here. I love that most. I just don't get anything from this, but at least want to know what the designer was trying to say, as in film. It is too extreme and done too well to just reject as garbage. It is too definitive of an edge. There's truly something that bothers you about what he's saying, and I find that intriguing.
