Aaand after watching this video, I got my watch set up JUUUUST RIGHT! THANKS AGAIN! THIS WATCH IS EVERYTHING I WANTED IT TO BE!!! SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY WITH IT!!! THIS THING IS AWESOME! And now I understand it's full Functionality and Abilities! Thanks again!
"Health to wear, strength to tear and money to buy a new one" old Irish blessing I love the GAW100 watch and you have a glorious new piece here. I have a different GST metal GShock which I love but I'm a bit afraid to scratch up. The GAW100 I wear without fear.
Yes, there will be a review of that watch. First, there will be Father’s Day. (I was able to briefly show the watch but I don’t officially get to have it yet.)
You might be able to get them used in good conditions at 50% or more off given that you like to search around (and wear used watches in general. Some people hate that idea).
No. You have to set the time zone. But if you anticipate the time zone change then you can set the “World Time” to the zone where you’re going to arrive and then do a quick swap when you’re ready.
Awesome video señor Greg, in your opinion which Casio watch is best known for their lume? and the million dollar question is do you have it? or will you begetting one just for the lume function?
Thanks a million for your review and great that you showed how it looks like on the wrist. Helped me a lot. Like this watch. Can you please tell what is your height in cm? So, it would be better to understand whether it fits me (183 cm high and 112 kg wight - big boy I am :) )
Interesting watch, although at 52mm a little on the large size for me, and also a little expensive ( for now at least) maybe you should wait till there reduced to $75 at Walmart that would be a real bargain,, just kidding $270 at present direct from Japan...stay safe
I used to think that G-Steel was a huge watch until I bought a GPW-2000 Bluetooth, MB6, GPS sync watch. Now that is a huge watch and in my mind too stupidly huge for its own good as they make the same module in some Oceanus watches and those feel slim on the wrist. Getting back the G-Steel, I wanted to like the mostly metal G-Shocks but they scratch too easy (i could scratch my metal BT/MB6 square just by looking at it it seemed) and though scratches happen to any watch, but on the metal G-Shocks they look horrible. Perhaps because i view them as being more a fashion watch then a G-Shock meant to be put to work and also because they stray away from the rubber bezel over metal or resin case ethos that G-Shocks were known for. In any event, enjoy the new watch and wear it in good health
Great detailed review. I really like the looks of this particular watch. I think my hesitancy in buying it comes down to the price, $300 currently, as this pushes into the Citizen atomic watch range. At the end of the day this is still a Casio, albeit a dressed up one. My perception at least is that for $300 I'd get far greater value from a Citizen atomic watch.
I would love to see that white dial in the new GST-B series. Casio is making a mistake with all black (or dim/muted color) dials for the GST-B collection, the whole series: B100, B200, B300, B400 and B500 use this dark dial color convention and is absurd and anti-customer.
Got the black dial version coming in 2 days. Thanks for this video. Can't wait to watch it again while I set it up.
The backlight is lit. Great timepiece, Greg!

Very nice piece Greg.
Another great watch to the collection, Greg!
I suggest that you should change your watches every hour for each day so your watches will not get sad 😂
Got this one two months ago. It look realy nice. Love it.
Also, video is great. Thanks for the useful information and instructions!
The Oceanus is stunning!! Make review please

This is a beautiful watch. I've yet to spend over $75 on a watch, but I this watch may cause that to change. I really like this.

Or maybe you should check one of the Lineage models, which are even prettier. They go for less than $200. And $250 for titanium ones.
Love that thing…just sent for it from Japan as I’m in the uk and can’t get it here.
Sharp looking watch.
Does it change time automatically when entered a different time zone?
No. You have to set the time zone. But if you anticipate the time zone change then you can set the “World Time” to the zone where you’re going to arrive and then do a quick swap when you’re ready.
Great Video, Great Watch.

Great watch I always feel here in the uk we don’t have a great choice of g shocks for a reasonable price great review though

The LCD are so tiny 🔍
The LCDs are larger than the ones on the AWGM100 so they seem like they aren’t tiny to me (because I was used to the AWGM100).
I have the negative version one, GST-W110D-1AER, as the most expensive -new- watch of my collection; regretted to have bought it
It can look cool at first, but no one loves negative display. lol
@@damyr rarely digital watches with negative displays are readable; as you said, they just look cool ;-)
👍👍
