Blame Fox for tanking and now it's time to ship him out. Secondly, Vivek needs to fire Monte McNair. 3rd, Vivek needs to sell his share and go away as far as possible from the team. Until Vivek is gone, the circus continues.
Blame Fox for tanking? The player that hit 3 clutch baskets against Detroit in the 4th quarter and put the clamps on Cade after He was abusing Keegan the entire 4th quarter? Man I can slowly begin to understand why Fox Is closed off and guarded. I watched that 4th quarter against Detroit twice and He was excellent until that final hail mary play from Ivey. It was Beasleys 4 3point shots in the 4th why they lost. Nba player gets hot like that you got to tip your Cap. He was guarded too
After eight years, we can see that Fox is not the person to build a team around. Definitely not someone to pay supermax (or even max). He is ball dominant, not able to make teammates better, not able to control flow of the game. He is not Shai, he is not a top point guard. And because Fox (and his agent) will want at least the max, than we need to make a business decision and ship him while his value is high. Build around Sabonis, Keegan, and even DeRozan. Get a true point guard (maybe Carter?) and extra wings and bigs. May not be special afterward, but at least not frustrating like this team is. So to sum up: TRADE FOX.
Blame Fox for tanking and now it's time to ship him out. Secondly, Vivek needs to fire Monte McNair. 3rd, Vivek needs to sell his share and go away as far as possible from the team. Until Vivek is gone, the circus continues.
Sabonas is good but need some other big too. Maybe trade fox and Murray because neither is winning and too soft. Not enough high percentage shooting. Not enough passing. Huerter is a point guard. He needs to shoot more.

Vivek ranadive plain and simple he’s ruined Sacramento even further since his arrival in 2013 hr needs to sell the team the kings will never change unless Vivek sells the team
WTH last szn or two you guys loved the guy and the young scrappy team the organization built. Now a regression year seemingly bc Derozan was added Barnes was subtracted and changed the team’s chemistry and identity. Everyone is finger pointing instead of just growing through the season with your young team and great coach.
I like you showing emotions. Just makes you look like you genuinely care, and you're a real fan of the team. You're one of my favorite locked on host even tho I'm not a Kings fan
This is refreshing and I wish others show this instead of others blaming and thinking during the coach will immediately fix internal problems & issues of the team.
Mike Brown wasn’t the problem, honestly, I think it’s time to ship Fox off, he clearly doesn’t want to be there anymore, time to rebuild, DeRozan is not gonna do it.
Youre delusional, just like the Lakers fans who wanted Kobe gone when he was shooting airballs and getting swept out of the playoffs when Del Harris was the coach. Warriors fans said the same thing about Steph when Mark Jackson was the coach, said he wasn't clutch lol. I'll just remind you that both turned into superstars the same year Phil Jackson and Steve Kerr got to both teams and won championships the first year. Its coaching. But sure, send Fox over here to Golden State, you'll regret making the dumbest decision in years.
@michaelbell75 You're the delusional one. You're talking about when Kobe was a rookie or second year player at best? Also, 8 years into Kobe and Currey's career, they were already champions. Fox can't even lead this team to the second round. Trying to compare Fox to those players situations makes 0 sense. You're also delusional to think the Kings would want any of the Warriors trash. If Fox gets traded, he's going to Miami, SA, Houston or Brooklyn
@ same with Kobe and Curry until they got real coaches….even Jordan. Go look at what a disaster he was before Phil Jackson. Couldnt get past the Pistons. Coaching matters
@@michaelbell75what coach is going to come in and turn the Kings around? You just named two multi-championship coaches. The only coach the Kings had with anywhere close to those credentials was just fired.
Rockets fans here. Like your podcast and like your fire. I'm not upset why Kings organization fired Brown, but how they fired him. In addition, the King FO doesn't seem to have a aftermath plan. Look at the Cavs, they fired their head coach J. B. Bickerstaff and replaced him immediately with Kenny Atkinson. Pistons scoped JB up, and both Cavs and Pistons made the correct decision as evidence by their respective records. Fans understand sometimes teams need to make a change to get over the hump, and the easiest change is to replace the coach. However, the Kings FO neither have the vision nor the class to fire the coach in a right way.
That's the problem though. A coach is a coach and should be respected. If I was an owner, I would be yelling at the players instead of firing the coach
Lakers are a good team and AD is a freak of nature. Sabonis had his hands full tonight in the paint. We have no authority in the key and fail to pair Len and Sabonis in the paint to set the tone. We have to play like Kings..
I’m a Lakers fan, and I can tell you that there is zero excuse for the Kings to give up over 130 points to a Laker team that is missing Lebron. What happened last night was the Kings showed that they only care about personal stats and don’t care about taking any pride in playing defense or team ball. Trae Young has managed to lead his team to an over 0.500 record playing with a bunch of average players-and De’Aron Fox can’t lead his team to a 0.500 record playing with Sabonis, Derozan, Monk, Huerter, Murray and more? If Fox wants to be considered one of the best PG’s in the game, he needs to learn how to start leading like one.
@jeffv3296 I don't think he tries to be labeled one of the best PGs in the game but it shows naturally so you can't help but to consider him one. I agree there's no excuse we simply need to but aren't getting things done. That Lakers team can still be a handful without LeBron they have a nice roster on top of AD so it's never going to be a cake walk as long as AD is on the floor. We lack size we struggle against most teams with nice size like Bos.Den.Clips.L.A. N.O. I feel like We need to make that adjustment and move Fox to SG and bring in a actual PG. Scorers never succeed at PG.
@James-j3w Lakers aren't at there best but there nice. I'm sure AD will find more consistency when the team gets in better shape. You guys need an elite PG without one Lakers just haven't been able to turn that corner.
It’s crazy how quickly things could change in just a few days. We were expecting playoffs and now this is probably the start of the rebuild. Classic kangz 🙃
While Mike Brown is not my favorite coach, this season is not on him (fully). He is not blameless and often shows no no passion on the court- during games. His rotations were bad, and inconsistent. However, he did not deserve to be fired. Monte McNair should’ve been fired first. He has built a flawed team and is taking no accountability for it. Monte McNair is a problem.
Mike Brown had the Kings playing way over their heads. He was the glue that held them together and gave them an identity. The question isn't why they are a subpar team now...the question is how did they ever get that good.
@@James-j3w I wouldn't say Kerr is not a good coach. But I will say that this copium has been rampant. "Hopefully Mike Brown is our Mark Jackson". The Warriors, since Jackson and now Kerr, have been an amazing team (notsomuch now). With the Kings inconsistency and makeup, there's no coach that could make this really work super well. And the other major copium is this: for the past decade of ownership, WHY would anyone think the next coach is going to be better, let alone good?
@Call_me_E_C I don't they will until they change their roster. I was just pointing out that a coach is only made good by the players he has. Phil had Jordan and Pippen and then Kobe and Shaq, Pop had Robinson, TD, Parker and Ginobli, Kerr had Curry and Klay. Easy to win when you have great players. The kings have decent players but not great. I think they overachieved the last couple of years, but now they are she they really belong. They are just not a good team and I agree with you, no coach will make them any better

Idk about Sasha im sure he’s doing great tho.
Gonna throw this out before watching the cast, I heard the first few words you said, and it is exactly my sentiment, what I was going to say "So we firing Doug now, he lost right?" So this is the "Fixed" kings? Brown being fired clearly made us better right? I disagreed with a lot of Browns decisions, but I never thought he was the sole problem. I am not saying Brown staying fixes things either, but this wasnt even an answer, this firing was for distraction purposes and even that failed... The Kings organization doesnt look for solutions, they look for scapegoats NBA has been catering to 20 year old kids with sneaker deals as though their input is of more value then long time NBA coaches or veteran players for a long time now, I am not saying all 25 year olds have no wisdom or maturity, but it is one of the simple truths that we tend to make poor decisions in our youth, fairly common knowledge, you generally get wiser with time, so why in the world do we continue to make decisions based off "young super-stars" supposed on-court value is insane P.S. Really appreciated Monk apologizing to the fans for their gameplay, first time I have heard a King even voice that kind of accountability in a long time and sound like he genuinely was upset he was letting down his fans, thanks for showing some of your human side to us Mr Monk, it is refreshing to see...
Monk has done that before; apologizing to fans for playing like ass. That whole "accountability" thing. Good thing he wasn't the coach, or he'd be gone.
Some of the same folks that have been saying for years that trading HB will fix the Kings, also said “fire Mike Brown!” because of his rotations and he keeps his hands in his pockets. How ‘s that going for ya this season?🤔
Still blowing up Fox huh? Absolutely Brown should have been fired after losing to the Larriors with the best offense in the league and the unanimous coach of the year. And now it's Fox's turn to get the hell out of town.
Huh? I’ve said nothing about Fox. Firing Mike Brown cements Kings as the destination where players careers go to die and shows that this organization is inept and learns nothing from their clown car revolving door of coaches
Also a Lakers fan here. Honestly it’s sad to see how many teams have these same front office issues as my Lakers, I thought Rob was the worst in the league, now I’m finding out he’s one of a few, I’m sorry you have to go through this Kings fans, it’s torturous!! We know all too well Kings fans! And we feel for you!
Kings fan here, but only for about a decade; I don't share our fandom's despise for the Lakers (I DO, but.... not that much. Plus Bron is my fave player). But the Lakers, even with their ups and downs, always seem to have a _winning_ culture. They're always building towards another banner. Even if the FO doesn't know what they're doing, they know the goal. I now realize that the Kings ownership and maybe FO just want asses in seats. If we signed Lebron and had a 50+ loss season, I'm sure the top would be just fine with that as long as Golden 1 Center is sold out
Vivek made himself and the team look like clowns once again on a global stage. Even all my friends from Taiwan who are NBA fans are having fun talking trash about how this franchise is a laughing stock. It's so embarrassing.
Fox has been struggling with main character syndrome since the beginning of last year when was trying too hard to make all star. He’s a great player but isn’t the greatest leader. I’m pretty sure he cost us at least 3 games this year with his terrible last possession choices. Clutch but will likely blunder in the end
Trade him while his value is up. Build around Monk and Sabonis. Rebuild the bench. The bench should be a priority though Fox isn’t even the biggest issue
I'm a new-ish fan (moved to Sac about a decade ago). And I want you to notice something that I'm sure other teams have scouted: a key possession, Kings players are spread out near perimeter not moving, Fox has the ball. What's the play? He drives his amazing speed into the middle of a double- or triple-team waiting near the basket. Loses the ball in that defense. Other team fastbreaks, scores, and now game got much harder. I've seen that happen TOO many times. When he's clutch, he looks like the most elite NBA player in the Association. But when he's not, he looks like he should get the Keon Eliis treatment...
@@Call_me_E_C u not wrong bro. No plays get drawn up and if they do it means they get all ignored by Fox as he usually takes it up top. Fox isn’t a true point guard, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in today’s league but it definitely means there is less ball movement. I hate to see selfish basketball as it never leads to winning anything big
We needed to resign Terence Davis. He was the boost of the bench on both sides of the court. At the same time…. We needed to sign Luka…. Smh. All wrong moves…. That’s the Kings.
The mistake the kings made by getting Demar is eerily similar to Lakers trading for Russ, and brining old guys that can't defend like Trevor Ariza, Wayne Eliington.. (Doug Mcdourmet, Jae Crowder...) It sabotaged the development of Caruso (Keyon Ellis) Austin Reaves (Keagan Murray)
There's only one actual King in the Kings organisation and that's Vivek! He did a great job with planning and the construction of Golden 1 Arena.. But when it comes to running the basketball team the King needs to take a good look in the mirror. I don't think anyone including Vivek can make the argument that the Kings under Vivek has been anything but a complete fail...
Carlisle got fired after winning Coach of the year AND making it to the eastern conference finals with Detroit in 2003. They were swept by New Jersey in the finals. Some players complained. He was fired. Larry Brown was hired. Detroit beats kobe and Shaq lakers in 5 to win the nba finals. Granted they picked up Rasheed Wallace at trade deadline and had the best defense after that in NBA history but still. Fire coach of the year win finals. Dwayne Casey won coach of the year with Demar Derozan led Raptors and was fired after being swept by the cavs in conference semi finals or finals cant remember. Hire Nick Nurse trade for Kawhi Leonard and beat Golden State in NBA finals in 6 games. Mark jackson took Golden State to the playoffs in consecutive years after having not made it in almost a decade. Was defeated by a very good Clippers team in 6 or 7 in the 1st round and was fired. Steve Kerr was hired and Golden State won their first nba finals that very same year after Mark Jackson was fired. You just never know. Maybe Brown took them to a spot where another Coach takes over and they advance even further. Frank Vogel took over for jim obrien right after all star break. They finiahed over .500 with Him with the exact same roster and made the playoffs for the 1st time after the malice in the palace roster was slowly disassembled. Went to the semi finals then made back to back conference finals. The only acquisition they ever made was signing David West. Hes the one that gave Lance Stephenson his opportunity and that Pacers era team were very successful because of it. Sometimes the answer is on the roster. Not every Coach is good for every player even if He is a good coach. Larry Brown barely played Jalen Rose in Denver and didnt like Him. Jalen was beginning to seem like a bust. Gets traded to Indiana, wins most improved player of the league and helped lead them to 3 consecutive eastern conference finals and one nba finals. They missed the playoffs altogether with the exact same roster except jalen rose and after Larry Brown resigned Larry Bird took over. Zero coaching experience on any level. Coached Pacers to 3 consecutive Eastern conference finals and an NBA finals. Then resigned and has never coached again. I think the Kings should hire Mike Bibby as their Coach. A player like Christie from that succesful era is a great idea. I think thats the route they should go. Christie should bring on Bobby Jackson or jason Williams or mike Bibby as assistant coaches. Infuse that team with culture. Bring on board Peja as a shooting Coach. Hire Scott Pollard as an assistant. Hire Hedo Turkoglu for some toughness. Hedo was so tough Chris Weber brought him into the Detroit hood playground for pickup games during off season.
I am telling you that Mike Brown totally destroyed the 2022 offense, with the same players, the number 1 in the NBA HISTORY!! by refocusing the team on "physicality" and defense without a rim defender!! It is ON HIM. Also he was pathetic in player development evidenced by the inconsistency of Keegan and Kevin and their inability to find any role in the Brown "system". That was the issue and firing Brown is a solid start. What did you expect in game 1 - a complete departure from the Brown system overnight?? Keon was a on a 2 way and now he is the key and underutalized? The team was in freefall and maybe so is the media.
Monte needs to ship everyone out thats not named Murray, Ellis & Carter. Go get Kessler as your young center and find a REAL PF so Keegan can slide back to the 3 spot. If they're gonna free fall they might as well do it with young talent
No. That was a team and a well run organization for a short while. They were tough, fun, and embraced the city. They got completely fucked over. This organization the past two decades doesn’t resemble the heart of that early 2000s team at all.
Devin Carter was awesome last night. He's ready to be a big time contributor. Keon Ellis s/b starting & 25-30min. Devin Carter deserves 20+ min a night. Now the Kings have 3 great perimeter defenders & much better 3pt shooting. Carter also gives them rebounding, playmaking, hustle & grit. Will Christie do the right thing? I don't know.
WHEN YOU HAVE TO STOOP DOWN AND START GLORIFYING G LEAGUE PLAYERS TO HAVE SOMETHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR TEAM THAT YOU COVER BRUH YOU KNOW YOUR FRANCHISE IS DONE 😂😂
@michaelbell75 How many coaches have we gone through since you all have had Kerr? Fox knows it and laid down the ultimatum this past summer. They sacrificed Keegan's game for 35 year-old DeRozen. Let Jody Fernandez go to new Jersey and how many drafts has this ownership hit on? Before you call others delusional, know your shit before you run that silver spoon mouth of yours.
@ Delusional people said that Kobe was bust when he was shooting airballs and being swept out of the playoffs under Del Harris. What happened the very year Phil Jackson arrived? Kobe became a star and they won a championship. Same thing with Steph and Mark Jackson. Kerr gets there, championship. It’s coaching. Same goes for football. I’m a Chargers fan. We won 5 games last year. Harbaugh comes in and gets rid of our WRs and RBs and we have a 10 win team going to the playoffs with a worse roster. Coaching.
@michaelbell75 We're Sacramento, not LA, where star players can make more in endorsements than their salaries. Our margin of error has to be minimal, and we have to build through the draft like Oklahoma City or San Antonio, but how's that working out for us? We're on our tenth coach in eighteen years, and Fox wants to be traded because of this shitshow run by Vivek, not because of "delusional" Kings fans. So, the longer we hold onto Fox, the greater the chance he loses trade value via injury. The last thing Kings fans want is another rebuild because we know Vivek.
@@jahidhassine37 well he had a really good rookie campaign it’s hard to say but as a pistons fan all I can tell u is patience felt the same about Ivey now he’s really taking off
Tell me what coach wants to play for vivek? They canned a coach of the year. I can't help but imagine that they don't want to coach a team where they feel like they can't make any mistakes. This is bad
They canned Mike Malone. I think he did something pretty substantial with the team that hired him after Vivek fired him; it escapes me... As a Kings fan, I don't get why our fandom thinks our next coach is gonna be Pop or Phil Jackson or someone. Malone's response to this was damning, and I'm sure a LOT of people have horror stories about this franchise's top brass. And let's be honest: Sacramento, while I love this city, isn't a destination, for b-ball or for glamor. If a city like Green Bay was mired in bad management for two decades, absolutely no one would want to live in Wisconsin to play for a bad team with no discernable future
I moved to Sac about a decade ago and been a hardcore fan ever since. Buuuuttt... I'm also a decades-long Jets fan (not from NY). Sometimes, it takes a real, REAL story and the fallout thereafter to stop being a fan. The Jets stupidity with that owner is way worse than this, but it's still "holy crap, THIS is how this team is run?!?!" common ground. Those owners want asses in seats, nothing else. They run their teams like the Colorado Rockies: Doesn't matter about that whole laughingstock thing; money is still being made with the "stars" for ticket and merchandise sales. I want both my League and Association teams to be good. But until those owners leave, they'll never be good
Not a kings fan but my buddy is and I think they should build around Derozan, Sabonis and Monk and then focus heavier on defensive players. Derozan has the mid range, Monk the long ball and Sabonis gotta control the paint and dominate in it.
The Kings owner is a joke he petty and cheap, and he is unwilling to do anything to bring talent to Sacramento. Fox is done he is clearly ready to leave. He needs to be traded and get some talent for him. Mike Brown was the scapegoat for a front office that had no clue how to make business decisions that would make the team better. The owner clearly needs to be bought out. I am tired of watching the Kings being run like a 7 eleven convience store.
Time to Move Forward, MB was not that good. Remember he was fired by LakeShow, etc., after very short time. Trade KM…. Foxy has 2 years on his contract, I’m gonna support him. Vivek is big part of why team is still in sactown. Go get Nikola…. Bulls will take KM and draft picks, at one time they only wanted 2nd rounders, but whatever--if you’ve been a kings fan since they got here…. We have them right where we want them…..this is when they need your support, don’t listen to the ‘hater.’
Bagley was.... interesting as a choice. But honestly, as a Kings fan and also a NY football Jets fan watching Sam Darnold become a good QB, I think Luka would've been ruined here
Haha what a poverty franchise. Glad I canceled my league pass a few weeks ago; saw the writing on the wall. And living on the east coast it’s just not worth watching this trash past midnight. So sad man. Two years ago was so exciting. Feels like a distant memory now.
When he said "It don't really matter, it's not going to make some feel better" I could have told you Mike Brown was getting fired. I know as a owner, you better make me feel better about your decision making in your interview.
As I have said fire both Brown and Christie. Christie is not a defensive guru. Get somebody. Else fire him maybe bring back Fernandez. The kings are back on run gun no defense game . The kings are back to the same old kings. You cannot blame Fox and or De Rozan. Maybe blame Sabonas who cannot defend any. Body. You cannot let aLebron less lakers to beat the kings this way. So we know good coaching is what is missing .If the kings play like they are hungry and willing to bang around they should win. The kings do not respect Christie. So until you replace him the kings will have difficulty winning. The. Mavericks will come to town with No Doncic .Will say what kind of defense Christie can design to play them.
If you trade your best player/players then you gave up the season. It is only December long way to May and June. Give them a chance with a good coach. the former coach of The bucks might be a good candidate and or assistant coaches who were successful coaches in the past
The concept of firing the coach as the problem needs ro be readdressed. Vivek should have looked at it as we had injuries to start the season, are bench depth is subpar and needs to be addressed and the heart of your “so-called” star player needs to be examined. They should have sucked it up and tried to make some trades and supported Mike Brown.
I blame Fox 29pts 12assists and Derozen 25pts them instead of Keegan 5pts because we chant Keegan’s name so I don’t care if he consistently plays like sht I’d rather blame Fox and Derozen!

It`s called a poorly built roster. I laughed when DeRozen showed up. Old, no defense, iso ball. Fox is a street baller. No defense anywhere really. Sabonis plays matador D.
What ta ffffff this organization it alway firing head coach, need to upgrade roster rather than firing the coach. No rim protector, no point guard can shoot the 3’. Need to ship Fox, Kueter,Try Lye right away.Need to fire GM rather than MB
Kings have needed a veteran point guard for years to mentor DeAaron. It might be too late for that now. I’m against trading Fox, but the leadership role needs to be in Malik and Domas’ hands from here on out.
I agree with you Monte’s inability to create a cohesive roster is the problem name one team towards the top with no shot blocking and no wings Domas is good but he’s 6’10 we can’t just out score other teams we need defense or just blow it up
Just when you think the Kings are going in a good direction and suddenly took a wrong turn which turns into this! Issues? I think this goes beyond the coach’s reach.
23:50 D.C looks better than Fox. Looks like he can read the defense well and makes his decisions based on that. He was gassed out. Definitely out of shape
Trade Fox to Houston or SA. Trade Malik for a first round pick. Trade Sabonis to anyone that will take his contract and just rebuild. A lot of future assets and a good draft coming up.
Also, I don’t know about you guys but the off season gave me some bad vibes after the Sasha Veznekov debacle and I wasn’t thrilled with DeRozen signing from a defensive standpoint.
I didn't even know who you were a week ago, Matt George. But seeing you speak truth to power, and take a stand against what is statistically one of the worst ownership groups in the NBA has been nothing short of admirable. It's not too dissimilar to what happened to the Jets this season (another statistically terrible franchise during the Johnson tenure, by any measure). People were saying "something needed to be done" after the Jets started 2-3 and were nitpicking Saleh for his shortcomings. They finished the rest of the season 2-9 and the same people are moving the goalposts and blaming the roster, kicker, etc. The "something needed to be done so let's fire the head coach since that's the easiest thing rather than trade players" is such an embarrassing admission from management.
Head coaches under the Vivek Ranadive regime since he became majority owner/general partner since 2013: Michael Malone, Tyrone Corbin, George Karl, Dave Joerger, Luke Walton, Alvin Gentry, Mike Brown, and Doug Christie. Eight head coaches. Only one lasted three seasons (Joerger) and one had a winning record and a playoff appearance to boot (Brown). Tack on another five coaches under the Maloof Family regime since Rick Adelman left in 2006 in Eric Musselman, Reggie Theus, Kenny Natt, Paul Westphal, and Keith Smart and that's unlucky 13. Yikes! That's dysfunctional with a capital D.
Lol, really. In his 13min of play with 11 points and 3/3 3P. Let it fly more, when then? Hahah. Is he again punishing him with less min beacuse he doesnt let it fly, just as MB did? Lol, amazing coaching
@@Scottadamsfan3481 making Doug the Coach is a pathetic joke. Because he is one of the guys for this owner. It's nepotism as close as you can get. Our next coach is gonna be a joke. lol the Kings need to stabilize. Losing 1 game after a coaching change against a team that has beaten them every other game this year doesn’t mean you need to throw up the red flags and blow it up.
Fantastic! And still he wasn't playing close to 100% in my opinion. More 75%, which is expected. Fans should be excited, although make sure you don't put too much expectation on the rookie to save the season.
@@LockedOnKings I totally agree! Once he is fully recovered, he will hopefully be great in the NBA, but I am still holding my expectations low in case of disappointment.
I am genuinely upset for Kings fans. 😕 I'm a Bucks fan but I was so rooting for the Kings in '22-23 as I love to see an underdog rise. They were so fun to watch, and your fanbase is supportive and blessedly thin on morons. I even love the Kings commentators, and Matt here does one of the best Locked On podcasts. All in all, so much to love about this team but then some billionaires have to go burst everyone's bubble. Again. And again. And again. 🤦🏻♀️ So depressing.
Vivek has to go 10 coaches 15 years. This os the worse we been in our whole franchise era sacramento. Even 85-89 seasons we atleast had effort. Its like 2 players give up
@ it would mean not having Fox. He’s the main problem with this team outside of Sabonis not being our power forward and making us undersized in most games.
Nothing has changed as expected. I think has been even worse. No defense, no hustle, no effort. The third quarter has been hard to watch, like someone continuing throwing punches to my face. Fox is completely out of this team mentally and so are others. Sabonis was not 100% after the illness, but he didn't play good and I renew my hope to see him in another (competitive) place really soon. Christie has to do a great job to try to recover the team mentally, otherwise the season is already over and if McNair will be out this summer, a(nother) rebuilding is inevitable.
Fire McNair, and get a high-ass package for Fox, because if this continues, Fox can leave and the Kings get nothing back in return. Bringing in DeRozan, not improving the bench, and not trading Huerter for better wing players (like Finney-Smith) are huge mistakes.
I’m a Lakers fan, but I watched the show because I find it refreshing seeing the host stand up for coach Brown
They fired Mike Brown because he wanted them to play hard.

If the roster is flawed, you can't blame the coach. Like Bill Parcells said, if u want me to cook the food, you have to let me buy the groceries
Sabonis is 🗑! He can’t shoot and shrinks in the playoffs! Plus he’s soft like cotton😂😂
i'm more inclined to believe that the one who wanted the super max isn't fox himself but his agency, the you-know-who mafia.
Should’ve kept Halliburton
Sabonas is good but need some other big too. Maybe trade fox and Murray because neither is winning and too soft. Not enough high percentage shooting. Not enough passing. Huerter is a point guard. He needs to shoot more.
Blame Vivek for being the same fool now as he was when he fired Mike Malone because his bad GM couldn't take the heat of a loosing streak.

12-18 with this roster is atrocious. Give Kerr this roster and they are top 3 in the west and championship contenders. Get a real coach

The Warriors, since Jackson and now Kerr, have been an amazing team (notsomuch now). With the Kings inconsistency and makeup, there's no coach that could make this really work super well. I disagreed with a lot of Browns decisions, but I never thought he was the sole problem. I am not saying Brown staying fixes things either, but this wasnt even an answer, this firing was for distraction purposes and even that failed...
The Kings organization doesnt look for solutions, they look for scapegoats
NBA has been catering to 20 year old kids with sneaker deals as though their input is of more value then long time NBA coaches or veteran players for a long time now, I am not saying all 25 year olds have no wisdom or maturity, but it is one of the simple truths that we tend to make poor decisions in our youth, fairly common knowledge, you generally get wiser with time, so why in the world do we continue to make decisions based off "young super-stars" supposed on-court value is insane

There's only one actual King in the Kings organisation and that's Vivek! He did a great job with planning and the construction of Golden 1 Arena..

Who should the Kings fire next? I vote for Monte McNair. Too bad Vivek can't fire himself.
We need to go to games and start chanting “sell the team” instead of “light the beam.”
Poorly constructed team… extremely overlapping skills. Fire the GM, its organizational problems
Now i see why shaq called them the queens when he was playing.
Please don’t use “being a woman” as an insult.
Even tho Shaq said that it's common knowledge that the refs gave that series to the Lakers. Remember Tim Donajue

Also, I don’t know about you guys but the off season gave me some bad vibes after the Sasha Veznekov debacle and I wasn’t thrilled with DeRozen signing from a defensive standpoint.
Sasha didn't like playing in the NBA and they got rid of him. 🤷
The "something needed to be done so let's fire the head coach since that's the easiest thing rather than trade players" is such an embarrassing admission from management.
our starters are struggling. our bench is subpar. can we get any lower?
We will never see the Sacramento Kings raise an NBA championship banner in out lifetime
Doug Christi post game was a joke - said he wants more threes , said he wants Ellis to let it fly more from three he was mad that he drove to rim
Doug is not qualified for the job. Typical Kings move
Lol, really. In his 13min of play with 11 points and 3/3 3P. Let it fly more, when then? Hahah. Is he again punishing him with less min beacuse he doesnt let it fly, just as MB did? Lol, amazing coaching
@ yes it’s all over Twitter
@@Scottadamsfan3481 making Doug the Coach is a pathetic joke. Because he is one of the guys for this owner. It's nepotism as close as you can get. Our next coach is gonna be a joke. He's gonna go cheap because he's stuck for 30 mil. There's nothing more to say about this team. It's a plane crash with no survivors.
Tomorrow night will be loss 7
Matt, we seen 🦊 pouting attitude last several years along w/ Hali. Soon as Devin gets called. Bubble wrap this Deva till traded.
Players never get blamed
lol the Kings need to stabilize. Losing 1 game after a coaching change against a team that has beaten them every other game this year doesn’t mean you need to throw up the red flags and blow it up.
Now it’s up to Monte McNeir to shake up that bench he’s not just going to let Doug Christie coach the same players
On a bright note. What do you thing of Devin Carter's g-league debut? I know it's not nba level but he still played good. Hit some good 3s
Its like 2 players give up
Let’s see how things look a few games in with Doug. I think he will make some changes and Domas will be back to form. He still looked sick in pregame.
Well…. That was a fun mini-dynasty for the last season and change 🤷
Looking forward to getting back into the play-in maybe by 2030 !!
Should have kept Haliburton instead of Fox
The fact that u think Halliburton could save this team 😂 while having the worse season of his career, having close to the same record as us
@ it would mean not having Fox. He’s the main problem with this team outside of Sabonis not being our power forward and making us undersized in most games.
Sabonis cannot play the 4 like at indiania.@Dng232
You can go get him Pacers should've want Nembhard, better than Hali
LUCKY SHOT. 😂 LET'S GO LAKERS
I thought the Oakland fans were dumb...but Sacramento takes the top spot supporting Ranadivé and Fisher
Devon Carter will be the savior 💪🏼😇
What’s happening with that beam though ? 😂😂
Yeah one game is definitely enough to conclude this… yawn.
Kings are cooked. Kings culture is softness. They don’t know what it takes to win. They just know how to ‘almost’ get there
