These lungs don't wanna read no more therefore we cannot really enlighten our existence to improve these statistics I would often ask myself if certain Congolese that attended the March fully understood their reasoning for being at the march The reason why I say this is because in watching videos of interviews conducted when some where asked why they were marching today the answer some gave indicated that they were just sheep seeking a instagramable glory . People didn’t really come with a solid well structured answers ,such as I am protesting today because it’s been 16-18 years that Kabila had a been in power and during this time 15 billion dollars is lost very year due to anti corruption Since he has been president six out seven people in the country lives on less than $1.25 a day More than 20 million killing in the Goma, Béni etc etc . Kabila has managed to violate xyz article Kabila has tampered with electoral votes etc etc Majority of their answers were always Kabila maman na yo , Kabila Rwandan All kinds of insult I always wonder now if a foreigner watch this and asked what are they saying what will we respond ? If a foreigner was wanting to help how can they help with very little factual information is being presented to them so they can have a better understanding of the situation so they can lend a hand Dyumnd is very honest and I applaud her for it Too many people now a days are going to protest just for Instagramable pictures . Very little people understand the history the back stories behind the moment . People just want to be cool on social media , I know Congolese people who attended Black Lives Matter protest in the UK who just think it was dope how black people were gathered and how there were police everywhere nothing more than that I think we love being meme and jumping on things we don’t fully understand .

I feel like this was a necessary conversation, but some points got lost in translation. Black Lives Matter is for Everyone with all shades of black skin. It will obviously be harder to get Congolese matters to go mainstream because most of the problems that Congo faces now are caused by our own leaders and people. Where BLM is about the oppression of Black people from the system of racism by white people. I am a fellow Congolese and very proud of my nationality!! I just feel like the work needs to start from our own people!
Y’all always complain about Congolese influencers that don’t speak about the Congo but I never saw French or American citizens complain about influencer not speaking a about what’s going in their country. Some people didn’t even decide to became influencers they just happened to be liked by many people ... they don’t have a obligation to speak up !
We don't say that they should talk about congo but people are dying. It's a serious topic it's not about sharing things about Congo for no reason. As a Congolese if you have a little bit of humanity and because it concern you it will be great to post something about Congo to make things change. In France or America people are not dying like Congolese people for more than 10 years. It's like saying if you're black you should support BLM.

I don’t think anyone on this Panel understands how Black Lives Matter impacts us too as Congolese people. It shouldn’t take away from Congo’s disasters/reasons to fight. You can support both. Kmt... Only Amba spoke sensitivity and with sense.

To lamuka, distraction esila!

Black lives only matters when is not Congolese lives. 6M plus massacred yet we do nothing! I need an invite on this.
What do you want us to do about it ?
We have to talk about this phenomenon of lightning skin in our community, men and women think that beauty is fair if you're not light skin you're ugly. Thank you
The noisy Gladys is missing I miss her noise 🤣🤣🤣🤣
These lungs don't wanna read no more therefore we cannot really enlighten our existence to improve these statistics
I would often ask myself if certain Congolese that attended the March fully understood their reasoning for being at the march
The reason why I say this is because in watching videos of interviews conducted when some where asked why they were marching today the answer some gave indicated that they were just sheep seeking a instagramable glory .
People didn’t really come with a solid well structured answers ,such as I am protesting today because it’s been 16-18 years that Kabila had a been in power and during this time 15 billion dollars is lost very year due to anti corruption
Since he has been president six out seven people in the country lives on less than $1.25 a day
More than 20 million killing in the Goma, Béni etc etc .
Kabila has managed to violate xyz article Kabila has tampered with electoral votes etc etc
Majority of their answers were always Kabila maman na yo , Kabila Rwandan All kinds of insult
I always wonder now if a foreigner watch this and asked what are they saying what will we respond ? If a foreigner was wanting to help how can they help with very little factual information is being presented to them so they can have a better understanding of the situation so they can lend a hand
Dyumnd is very honest and I applaud her for it
Too many people now a days are going to protest just for Instagramable pictures .
🤣🤣 good points raised
Frère Dede is back 😭😭😂😂😂
I have something against Franco! I sent him a post on IG asking him to post so people can support on gofundme. It's to help kids in the East who lack books n other school provisions.

Worddd👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
We don't say that they should talk about congo but people are dying. It's a serious topic it's not about sharing things about Congo for no reason. As a Congolese if you have a little bit of humanity and because it concern you it will be great to post something about Congo to make things change. In France or America people are not dying like Congolese people for more than 10 years. It's like saying if you're black you should support BLM.
