This is still very confusing as rules change daily I predict that many UK travellers will find themselves illegal stayers in the EU by September. I found out this morning that I don't need a day 8 (which is a NHS test anyway as day 2 is). All we need to return to the UK is to fill in a passenger locater form and buy a PCR test prior to flying. You also need to book (not pay for) a PCR test on day two. There is no need for quarantine or day 8 if you are fully vaccinated. Is that clear. Toulouse airport €55.

Are you vaccinated in the UK. I am an expat in Denmark fully vaccinated with Pfizer . But have got to be vaccinated by NHS to come home to family so I have to quarantine!! How stupid. How many ex pats have been vaccinated in UK , they haven’t been allowed in for the last couple of years

You are slightly wrong, as if your day 2 test is positive you MUST take the day 8 test.
