The DPE stated a minimum of 3rd class medical was required. Doesn't "Basic Med" apply if you've previously held a 3rd class and have qualified for Basic Med?
Hi Scot, thank you for the question. You would be able to do it under BasicMed, assuming other limitations are met such as aircraft size, passenger quantity and altitude. However, we're speaking more generally in this situation as AeroGuard doesn't have any enrolled students without at least a 3rd class medical.
