They need to write together new material for another comedy. They don’t have to be in it just write it. They’re very talented comedy writers. It seems a waste for their partnership to end after Gavin and Stacey.

Art is subjective, but what disappoints are the critics and moaning minis who post. Lots of people love this show and I'm one of them. If you dislike it, fine, swipe on and move on. No I have to create a personal validity for my fragile ego, by showing my disdain. Utterly pathetic!
Watching stag do's and hen do's with strippers and people acting like pratts is not my thing.
Tried to watch their Christmas show, it was dreadful, couldn't finish watching it. 😢

Each to their own. I think it was fantastic. I was wailing from the moment Smythy said - "of course i want to have corn on the cob" until the very end. Gavin and Stacey is one of the greatest sitcoms the world has ever known and top 3 British comedy shows of all time
1 and 2 being Vicar of Dibley and Only Fools (of course!)
Why
They should write a show called the taxi office. Will be very easy to write stories around things and they can save on costs by having one location.
People would love to know the stories and gossip drivers see and hear and what they're not allowed so say. Been a taxi driver 15 years and all I hear is what's your best story and they ask for some. We will tell them a story, but never who or where. You can make Nessa the nosey office manager that always asks drivers the gossip on the weekend about customers and who's cheating on who, and now and again she's known for dropping hints and jokes when customers call on speaker so they all hear in the call centre for example, if Dave has been cheating on Emma with Jane in the premier inn, she answers and says hello Jane to dave. She can be the character that makes trouble, James can be the one that tries to tell the drivers not to tell her anything.
