The tale is about the national Moldavian and Romanian hero Fat-Frumos, or as it is called, Basilica - a fearless warrior who fought against the forces of evil.
It was in one good kingdom-state where people lived and grief did not know. But the dragon fell for them, and stole... all the keys to the water pipe! The king had to give his daughter a monster to return the water to the kingdom. And here the courageous Basil Fat-Frumos went to rescue the princess from the hands of the dragon.
«Gem Mountain» - animated series based on the fairy tales of the peoples of Eurasia, produced by the studio «Pilot» under the guidance of Alexander Tatarsky. The series consists of 87 episodes of approximately 13 minutes each. The series is produced in different animation genres. Each cartoon begins with a screensaver, which talks about the history and significance of the region and people from whose folklore the fairy tale is taken.
