I gave up junk food, I stopped being a glutton.
I'm exercising, I've lost in total 100 lbs.
I'm trying to be less lustful.
I'm trying to use more reason instead of anger.
More generous than greedy.
Stop blaming others and being a victim of circumstances and accept my responsibility on everything.
I'm trying to be content instead of envious of the "things" I do not have any need of and want what I need and be happy with what I have.
I'm speaking less and listening more, yet I'm trying to be social.
I'm trying to become the best possible version of myself, I want Jesus to continue to lead me down this path, this path of healing, both my body from obesity, my trauma and my addiction to alcohol and cigarettes.
Maybe I found enlightenment?
Maybe I'm having a spiritual experience.
I just feel as though God has stepped in and has begin to heal me and make me better.
May the spirit of God keep you a stray from the things you regret.
Repentance is of the mind, and accepting the notion that it is not Godly.
If you TRULY repent (not just YOU WANTING TO DO RIGHT BY GOD) but by asking GOD to give you the strength to right your wrongs
That is when he will bless you with the spirit of Conviction. And turn you away from those things that he hates.
All those things that you've mentioned, plagues or have plagued me as well
No more porn (but still lust)
No more drinking (but still smoke)
It's a fight, but each thing that I ask GOD to remove from me, he does...and even the thought of it, makes me want to gag.
Keep fighting the fight brother, God loves you, and life means there is still sand in the hourglass ⏳..........
Just don't wait until you are down to 1 grain to get right with Him🙏
I feel so bad when I sin, and I don't want to do it. But I still do. God give me strength, I want to be holy just like my Lord Jesus Christ.
The is natural, sin is of the flesh and is hard to resist in some cases. The challenge is first knowing it is a sin, secondly realizing it’s happening or about to happen, and most importantly asking the Lord for strength in the fix your eyes on Jesus and fleeing from it through the will of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the way.

I am saved. Those closest to me, when I try to explain what it is to follow God and Jesus, they seem to not be able to hear it or accept it.

I’m learning after 30 years ago of being a believer of Christ Jesus, is being salt and light in this evil world. Walking in love is what’s required according to The Holy Bible. A clean heart gives inner peace, an ability to love, a charitable spirit, and generosity. Read the Beatitudes. Act the way Jesus tells you to, and after awhile, it won't be an "act" anymore. That's when you'll know you're alright with Jesus. It really isn't as complicated as some make it out to be. It also isn't as simple as many others say. Salvation IS a gift, but it doesn't come wrapped with a bow. You have to participate.

I'm so glad I decided to separate from the Methodist Church which preached heresy that went against the scriptures and the Gospel. The Pastor I have had for the past four years helped me realize the many truths of the Bible, he preached constantly on Hell, on Revelations, on Judgement Day, and on how to turn from sin and the necessity to turn from sin which is only doable through Christ.
He preached to us the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus, he preached to us the reality of Hell, the grim reality of Judgement Day. He still told us that not all was lost for us, but if we continue to become complacent in our sin and not turn towards Christ, then we shall be going to Hell. There is no work around, the only way is through the One Truth, the One Light, the One God, all of which you find through Christ. God Bless, and continue to pray and study the Bible every day.

i dont like to admit it, but my school is meant to be Christian school but out of the 54 people in my grade, only about 15 or less are Christian. my whole friend group that i'm in does not follow God and i've found myself sinning more around them while feeling bad about it. i'm in a tough situation because it's a private school and everybody else is in their separate groups. Lord, i pray that not only for me, but for those who are also struggling with a similar problem, that you will help us. help us find friends at our churches or outside who follow You and love You in Your Holy Name. I grew up severely misguided and mislead.
I leaned on earthly value, earthly possessions, and saw money as the epitome of success.
Often looking at misfortune of others to be silver lining of “being blessed” and “not being blessed”
“I’m not sick and they are, I must be blessed.”
“I must be doing something right, their situation aint my situation.”
I lived with this mindset til the age of 24 when I began seeking God, through the Bible, and in that began my relationship with Jesus Christ, by way of the Holy Spirit.
If you’re still reading, this life is so much more than we can possibly imagine. We have a tendency as human beings to overlook avenues that lead to Christ, and instead take up habits that merely fit our own truths and beliefs.
God has purpose for your darkest parts of your life, he has reason for your heartache.
The reason the thought of “God” upsets many of us is because it challenges the very nature of life that has anything to do with self, selfish motives, selfish ambition.
God challenges us to step away from everything the world tells us to step in to.
An obedience and discipline rooted in God, through Jesus Christ shakes the very foundation of what this world provides for you on a daily. All the while, God is waiting for us all to call on him, to look to him, to seek his ways, and run from ours.

Accept Jesus as lord and savior and live for Jesus.
This is going to be unpopular… but I have tried so many times to come back to Christ and stop sinning and hurting people. I keep thinking about it and it terrifies me. I am shaking right now, because I keep feeling like death is looking me in the face and hell is to follow. Please pray for me if you can. It’s like I feel it so strongly that judgment is before me.

But wait at 7:20 : "A life that is exactly the same as before you were saved". So your life needs to change if you are saved? That's works salvation.
Will GOD forgive me ? I feel so condemned. I was saved before but walked away from Jesus. Will he accept me back ? And work in my heart ?
God will never reject a repenting person. He created us in order to share His love with us. Although we can never understand spiritual matters with our minds, it's our faith and trust in Him that shows us the way forward.

Good news for expert researchers: Hell is an underground city, you can play Diablo there, if you want to. Heaven is a super large UFO in the sky, you can’t see it with any instruments. You get to Heaven, if you meet the extremely strict requirements, a priest can easily get to Hell, if he makes one mistake. If more people are capable to meet their requirements, then they raise the level of exception. Therefore, less will go to Heaven, and more go to Hell. Hell is a prison, those who live there do interesting steps, eg internet access.

There are many people out there who live in church and call themselves “Christian’s” but don’t believe that they should obey God but he should obey them because he is there just to respect them but not give him respect.
