I don't know what mine was. I just know it was a charcoal greyish silver with a gold Easton logo. That was in 92 and it was a hundred bucks back then lol. Coach bought it for me.

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

@@ivanjohnson9244 Most commonly a drop 10, but it depends on the player. Google 'bat digest size chart' for a trip down the rabbit hole.

Do you not play for a middle school team I’ve played baseball my whole life and none of the leagues I’ve played in nor my middle school allow usssa considering they are to hot. I usually use a wooden 33 inch or a -3 33 metal bat bbcor/USA
I just chose not to play travel ball even though I was good enough because I liked to play with my friends who played rec.

I counted the points for each bat on that scale and the soldier tank had 18 the icon had 14 the catx 2 had 14 and the hype fire had 13. I think they’re all amazing bats however.
I used a 34/30 TPX.High Velocity in high school and beyond. It was the dark red one that looked almost maroon. I mashed with that bat! I took it to the cages with my son and the sound was extremely unique. It almost has the sound of a wood bat. I've been looking through your videos to see if you've ever reviewed that one but I have not found it yet. If you can get that bat I'd love to see the numbers you put up with it!

Guys……how about a review of the CATX 2 composite BBCOR? Is it league approved in D1? They have had trouble with their bats vs competition in the NCAA level.

00:45 How do you break a non-wood bat in, and how does one know when you have completed this process. Sorry, but I only used wood bats years ago so the concept of having to break a bat in is new to me.
My boy got to swing one last week as they had a Marucci rep at his tournament.
He loved the drop 5 but a little too much for him but we picked up a drop 8 before they are released.

What was the EV on the few swings with the drop 8? You got a hype fire video showing only a few MPH difference between the 8 and 5. I imagine for an actual -8 user, the difference would be small.

I always stuck with 1 piece Alloy bats back in my middle school, high school and, community college playing days. Durability was #1 due to low income. Wasn't much of a power hitter anyways. LOL

Get a review of the 2025 atlas before it drops. I plan on buying 1 for my 13 year-old son. We want to make sure it's the same bat. The 32 in icon is just a tad bit endload for him this year.

Can we get a video or info on the top USA bats? It would be cool to see your take on the most balanced and biggest sweet spot. It’s hard to find info on USA bats. I have to get info from trying kids bats as they come into the facility. The kids using USA bats can’t swing hard enough to really need a hot bat, they would benefit more from barrels.
