This latest release includes new Edge Sidebar features that are powered by the new Discover Edge Copilot, with auto-hide and new hover functionality, bringing AI to the Toolbar. There are also improvements to Enhanced security mode and a new policy to clear IE mode data on the browser exit and more. We also get important security fixes, fixing 21 security issues. The browser is now upgraded to version 111.0.1661.41.

The work around to remove the Bing icon is to disable "startup boot" in Settings - system and performance and then add the flag given below to Target (without deleting any other flags)
--disable-features=msUndersideButton

If you mean the bing icon from search box, just turn off search highlights
