i have repaired alot of these, i have a way to solder them easily, and i also drop a small wire across each crack for more strength.

I do not have a problem in the uhf band 430 mhz....in band vhf 145 mhz ok.

I think is a Diamond SX20C (HF and VHF) or SX40C (VHF and UHF)

pretty near to spec ?? 37w is 'near to' 50w...
