I loved this movie. A movie that was about Christians who do the right things. Even though they were not perfect, but at least the pastor was not falling into sexual sin. All unrighteous is sin, says the Bible, but when a person fornicates, they sin against their own body. Not only is the pastor expected to live holy, (not perfect) but we are striving for perfection, and when we see Jesus, we shall be like him. I like the idea, that the pastor seemed to have been led by the Lord. He saw in her, what she didn’t . She was humble and it showed in many ways. There is always somebody that think they can do the job better . But the pastor that is called and chosen by God , can get the work done for the Lord.
I am glad to see a movie that does not have the people only talking about the Lord in church and living ungodly at home.
I wish you would produce more movies like this. And I know there will be others , I will watch those that I can, but it would be nice to see more of these. I also appreciate when I hear Scriptures, that is another chance for someone who doesn’t go to church to hear the Word of the Living God!

I pray that this movie goes to the ends of the world so that as Christians we stop judging those Abba Father has forgiven and those Christ died for just because at that time they are YET to be saved (sinners seeking salvation). It's not about being a woman that you shouldn't lead the church but it's about God and your personal relationship with Almighty, God can use anyone, male or female depending on the state of your heart
Honestly, sincerely, this is the realiest church movie I've seen in recent times..... not all those unrealistic story lines portrayed in most of these movies portraying the church in a different unrealistic light. And this pastor role suits Ekamma well....she ate and left no crumbs and all the other actors played their roles well. Kudos to the cast and crew... Give the producer his flowers abeg🌺🌺🌺🌹🌹🌹🌹

First, I commend the crew for coming up with a fresh perspective of gospel movie that is gradually fading away in the industry.
Having said that, lets dive into the business of REVIEWING this piece.
1. The Politician's Donations.
This movie failed to to clarify why both the father and daughter refused to accept the donations, though the daughter said they were contented with the congregational supports and donations like that comes with strings attached (the question is, what was the strings attached to this particular politician) because he was played in two different scenes and as such, more details ought to have been given.
2. At The Bar
We heard the bar owner daring pastor Anna and till the end of the movie we didn't know what the dare was all about. We only saw him bringing his gang to church plus we do not know what took him out of the church in the first place.
3. Bible References
The bible quotations were largely flawless and synonymous with the scenes however, making references with 'Jesus dinning with thieves and tax collectors' was used under inconsistent scenarios.
4. Balancing
Since we are having an unmarried female pastor as the head pastor, the right thing to do is to have visited Yomi at the bar with an elder of the church if she couldn't call for him to meet her in the church office as it should have been.
The use of statement like 'he has gone through and completed the bible foundation classes' should have been part of the discussion at the meeting when trying to make Yomi the youth leader to give the viewers a sense of integration into the church community.
Praying with the new converts/backsliders by leading them to salvation would have passed a stronger message than just ' i hope to see you in church on Sunday.
5. Favourite Quotes Scene For Me.
COME AS YOU ARE....
I agree with your point 4 totally. For 1, I think it'll involve the church in subtly campaigning for them, which I think Hannah's dad mentioned. Though a more specific info wouldn't have hurt.
For 2, I assumed the challenge was to preach to them to see if they'll convert. They probably threw her some questions that Pst Omole couldn't answer sufficiently.
3, I didn't get the inconsistencies you mentioned there. Although, I would have preferred they vary the examples like Mary Magdalene, etc.
I don't see the issues with her visiting the place without an elder. For all she knew, he could have been hurting himself. That's still pandering to judgemental Christian outlook and not the act and the reason behind it.
Such a powerful movie many life lessons.

Wowwwww so interesting that Deza the Great’s shirt read, “F@#&%#% Fresh’ in the church coming as he was confessing his previous peril and supporting Ms. Ekama’s character.
🇺🇸❤Ekamma and Dez the Great delivered in their leading roles. This is a beautiful story about foresight, love, entitlement, redemption, Christian envy, judgement, sacrifice. Pastor Samuel had the foresight to see that Pastor Molly wasn't ready to take over probably because he felt entitled and not a calling for him. He knew Hanna heart and love for the church was grounded in her from her upbringing. She just chose to work outside of the church for what she had a passion for. Yummy fought judgement from the church after being released from prison. All he wanted to do was make a difference with the youth and learn the bible for understanding. That one on one Bible study with Hanna probably should have been in a group setting. Molly's wife displays Christian Envy when she plotted to get rid of Hannah as the head Pastor for her husband. Redemption came for Yummy and Hannah when the local bar owner, Pappy and his flock came to join Hannah's church after a sermon she gave him in his bar. Pappy's presents show the church elders and Pastor Molly that Hannah's presence in a bar brought people of all kinds to the church...Amen! Great cast and definitely watch! 🇺🇸
The movie seemed uninteresting from the beginning but the comments here encouraged me to watch till the end.
I must say Ekamma Etim Inyang is a versatile and talented actress. The sky is her beginning. Deza The Great and others did very well too.
The movie passes a good message. The church did not overturn the Will of the Pastor who passed on to meet the expectation of man. The wife of the assistant pastor played the role of a believer who acts like an unbeliever doing things in an unjust, unrighteous way to satisfy her ego, also pushing the husband to it. Thanks to God who prove Himself and convinced them to turn their ways. If you are a believer or a minister, be careful the choice of partner we make to marry. The decision we make determines how far we go and how well the Will of God makes manifest in our lives.
Lastly, the church is a place for redemption as stated in the movie. In reality, It’s not about the church but the body of Christ. Redemption is not reliable on the church alone. The church is just a place where we gather for fellowship. Being redeemed is personal and staying consistently redeemed is with the grace of God and commitment.
Kudos to all the casts and those behind the scene who put this together. Winning souls is key in everything we do on earth.

This is a great movie. A must-see. So many are victims of church hurts. We may be hearers of God's words, but are we all church folks doing what God commands us to do? Many see being church members as a God given right to judge each other. The Bible says by their fruits you shall know them, but it also says, "Judge not that he be not judged. Therefore, seeing each others fruits is for edification and encouragement, not to pass judgment. Great storyline, actors, directors, producers, etc.
Great movie. There really should be more spiritually uplifting movies such as this. God’s ways are still the BEST!
Sir Chris, Deza, and Ekama did justice to this movie. Love it. Was emotional at times but very interesting. God's love is sufficient. We must never judge others. Jesus dine with sinners, Jesus call sinners to repentance. Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
