This is a very important topic. Thanks for spreading awareness. Frankly, all dental issues are urgent only because of the pain involved so it's best to have dental insurance.

But dental insurance only covers a part of total cost. For e.g. in case of root canal, I have seen most of the insurance not even covers 50% of the total cost.
