@Taylor Thanks for the video. I'm planning to do visit Paris from th U.S. and work remotely. I"m wondering what connectivity method did you use for video/phone meetings to the office i.e. did you use WhatsApp, etc., any particular SIM card, etc.? Your advice will me much appreciate.
I was just there and took pictures and did the same thing minus going into the actual building you should have tried to go upstairs.

Hi Taylor, have you seen the movie "Amélie" with Audrey Tautou? It s a wonderful movie shot in Paris. It was shown own screen when I was a university student in Paris in 2001.Highly recommended, also because of the very articstic way the city is presented.

It's actually a towel warmer. I don't think it's a dryer. I'm enjoying your videos and seeing Paris, since I will probably never get there.
I always thought I'd study abroad in Paris but ended up in other places instead... and though I visited a few times it just isn't the same as getting to stay and be immersed, I guess it will be a goal for when I'm a retired old lady because this is SO the life! Love the vlogs!

It's actually a towel warmer so yes, put anything you want on it to be cozy, towels, pajamas sound wonderful to warm up before bed.
Taylor. You did have a great Parisian day. Those are the best. Do everything you can do to end up living there. Even if it means a job change. Your young. Follow your heart and your dreams. Hi Taylor you need to take a boat ride at night on the seine. Bateaux-Mouches set on the top. The ride is quite nice and so Paris… the sites are stunning and the lights are Magical. You will definitely enjoy this. It’s a must do while there. Trust me. I love your Emily in Paris Dress. So cute. 💖💄👄🍾
Why don’t you and Jessica make plans to spend one month a year in Paris. Then it will feel like a true second home. Springtime sounds amazing!! Use it as an excuse for content. We all love coming along for the ride!!

Hi Taylor this is Eric from Chicago. I'm going to NY tomorrow. I ate the E A Cafe in saint Germain de pres. I didn't know about cafe de flore. When I visited Paris in August. NY and Paris they're both unique you can't compare to them to other ciities.
Cross the street...keep going...Eglise de Saint Germain des Pres is a gorgeous church just across the street from Les deux Magot. The ivy on the outside is picturesque and the inside is beautiful!

You're so near to London. Jump on the Eurostar train and do a day trip or stay 1 night in London - you'd be mad not to. Stay at a Premier Inn - they are comfortable and clean and won't break the bank. Cheers.

I also especially loved that we got to see you the day you posted. Those few monents of "same day" footage made me feel as though I was there, and more connected with Paris life because I got to experience the weather, bustle , lunch etc of the city and you on the day it is happening.

Hello! I’m wondering if you would comment about packing. Is there anything you wish you brought with you from the US, or are there things you wished you left at home?
Hi!! I love this question! One thing I wish I brought was a simple black mini skirt and black tights. So many girls wear that here and while I don’t wear dark colors that often there’s something a little different and chic about it! I also wish I packed slippers to walk around in the apartment! There were a few pairs of pants that I gave Lyle to take back home because I didn’t think I’d wear them. I’d say overall I also brought too many jackets, it’s actually much warmer than I thought I’d be!

Why can't you stay??!!
Can't you just move there? Both you and Lyle work from there for a while?
No you can’t just move to France. Any company that is going to hire a person who is not a European citizen has to prove they have looked to hire 1. A French person and then if not them 2. A personnel from another EU country. After that hey can hire a person outside the EU. They have to sponsor them and it’s not cheap…… You can not just move there and work remotely. Is you are American you can be in the EU for 90 days as a visitor and do what you like…. Work remotely. But to live, no it’s not possible. I am Canadian and live in France. It’s a difficult country to just move to.

If a person does not speak French, how hard is it to shop, order food etc.??
If you begin any interaction with a pleasant “Bonjour” many people (especially in shops and restaurants) speak better English than Americans speak French. 🙂

It so fun to watch you enjoy yourself in Paris. I love how they live there. I have been there 3 times. It is one of my favorite places in the world. Your work schedule is perfect for sightseeing, and since you are somewhat alone, it’s good to be inside at night.
You obviously have not have anything stolen in Paris! NEVER leave your handbag on the table! Someone will come by and grab it!
I’ve been a little confused about your going to Paris. Your doing all the same things you did in New York. You just moved in with Lyle and took off to Paris. It wouldn’t take much to get you to stay in Paris and give up your life in New York. I think you live in a fairy tale and have a idea of what your life should be. Hopefully you’ll figure it out before it’s too late.
