I’m so upset that I missed these.
To be honest - were I to buy another planner cover it will probably be a Moterm. I have three Gillio covers which I rarely use because I am afraid I will dirty or damage them. Moterm is a good alternative which I don't have to baby and worry about all the time... And I like the Moterm colours. With Gillio you often have to wait until they offer the colours you want. I did not try VDS yet but they are really outside my price range and I don't feel the need to spend so much on a single cover anymore.
I love this!! I still remember all the trouble you had with your Gillio that came without the plastic protector. That made me view them a little differently. I have two Gillios and I bought those second hand.
I have the same color Apricot. Mine is pebbly all over but the strap is smooth. It’s pebbly/smooth on the inside.

The Gillio slim appunto is quite big for a Weeks cover. I love my matte black croc but generally prefer the compact size of Moterm and Eternal Goods. I love the new veg tan too ! I don’t care for Gillio’s Epcoa leather and don’t like VDS’s standard weeks layout (without too much customization) but Moterm is perfect. I have the Forest, waiting on a caramel but would love an apricot at some point.
Now having the new Moterm do you regret missing the VDS ‘fast shipping’ sale lol?
No, now I know it was meant to be😂🤣 I adore this cover AND it’s price, lol.
Oh one last thing. I always think of this: back in 2019ish there was a rumor I heard on a couple of channels- that Moterm didn’t use leather that was a by product of the meat industry. Basically that it was an unethical company and that they were killing cows just for their hides. This was not true, but I will never forget that I always heard that rumor when a certain brand was being reviewed…
I was thinking… let me get lots of Moterms before something happens. I feel like Gillio is petty enough to try to sue them now that I’ve seen a TON of their products on the BTS page in the past few weeks. I don’t think it’s a coincidence….

@@plannermumsy I bought a rust A5 appunto about 2 months ago. Could have just waited for a chestnut. If moterm decides to come out with an undyed??Check. Mate. I doubt they’ll ever come out with ostrich, so I’ll still go to gillio and VDS for that very specific, very “once in a blue mood need.” Even so the hit will be felt on these other companies. Part of me feels bad. They can’t mass produce like moterm can. VDS is still special to me due to the history and I’ve always had a great experience with Petra and the colors are so unique, pastel and girly. Gillio has burned people. Your video(which I wish you kept up) was so upsetting to watch but also needed to get out there. Okay I’m done but I’m glad you keep it real on this channel. I’m so sick of everyone liking everything in the planner community. Customer service is important and these companies will learn one way or another- with the recession especially, goods like this will be a luxury even more so than before.
