While not an ideal way to start a new planner, it's definitely a way of showing care for yourself by keeping track of important health events. You are a joy to watch and I wish you all the best, along with a big virtual hug 🤗
Oh my! I feel for you. So sorry for your struggles and glad you are in the mend now. I do think it’s an important message to be aware of your family and friends who struggle with health and wear masks and be more mindful in general for the benefit of everyone. We are all in this together! Hang in there ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing the real real! I am also in the 'pause season of life and was diagnosed with Type II diabetes...and other issues... last year. The best thing I've been doing is keeping a separate health and wellness planner. I log EVERYTHING...food, symptoms, sleep, weight, even the weather because sometimes that can affect life. I absolutely refuse to take hormones or add any additional medications. I've been working my ass off to minimize and eliminate medication. I'm not there yet, but I do find writing everything down helps. I keep thinking we of a certain age need a support group. No one wants to talk about it, especially the generation before ours. Again, thank you for sharing. You are NOT alone!
Yes, it is a goal of mine to get back off meds as soon as I can do it safely. I feel so much better in general off meds. This planner isn't pretty but it is helping me process for sure. Hang in there! We are going through it together💜
I'm a guy. But pride myself on being able to speak with people about any and every human thing. Apparently I have that type of face or something because people at work will talk to me about anything. Poo problems, ed, puss stuff, etc. :)
Thank you for sharing! I have also had a long year dealing with thyroid issues and it can be hellish. I’m grateful you’re feeling better now and I’m praying you have a quick road back to your normal❤
Thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable with us. Even when you think that something might be TMI, there are people that benefit from the information and maybe feel they aren’t alone. ❤
So sorry you went through this. I hope you’re feeling better by now, six months later. That is a gorgeous pen! Can you share what pen it is and where you got ir? Thanks! O.s. This planner is super cute! Lots of prayers your way 💕
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. One of my children is being treated from Long Covid and their periods were horrendous after covid (it’s a known reaction to both covid and the vaccine), they’ve recently been to a LC specialist and been prescribed two antihistamines to help their body’s reactions (one general and one for the gut). It sounds as though you know what to do to recover, Sending some grace that you can take your time to recover ❤
Oh my goodness! You were in worse shape that I was. I had a sinus infection from before Christmas through January 21. My cat was in the hospital and ultimately died, I missed a girls trip, I couldn't get a doctor's appointment, tried the CVS minute clinic and couldn't get in. I called my husband from CVS parking lot and said "I'm coming home to die!" "i'm sick and I'm sad." Swallowed a ladybug on the way home. Finally saw the doctor and started feeling better. There is a light at the end of the tunnel with no train behind it. Lifting you up in prayer.
These things are so full of grief and intensity- I am so sorry for this difficult period. You are human, this is so hard. I appreciate your openness and honesty- and I have to keep a planner like this too- its a form of self care. Big hugs.
I really appreciate you sharing… I was in good health after working hard to not have an illness since 2019, this Sunday I hear it’s back… we all have some crucibles and through it all God will give us the strength not just to survive but to strive. I paused and prayed for you… continue to trust God He will carry you through this. The story of the potter in Jeremiah talks about how the clay was molded and it came out into beautiful pottery…. May God bring us through…
Thank you so much! Those prayers are felt for sure! Day by day. God has certainly gotten me through this far. I pray you get answers soon for your own journey💜
I’m so sorry that you had to go through all of that. As someone with a chronic condition who is on infusions I completely understand. Last year August I received a new dx and now receiving palliative care. It’s ok to cry and vent and share on your channel. It can be healing to get the frustrations out. You’ll find out there’s so many of us who are here for you as we understand first hand.
It is tough to share videos this raw. They aren't for everyone and usually I lose a bunch of subs when I am honest like this but, I just felt the need to share. It is a part of me, good or bad. Sending prayers your way!
Awwwh Sweetie!!!! I wish so bad I could reach in and give you such a big hug. I am so deeply sorry you are going through all this. Allllll your friends here are praying for you and I bet you will be able to feel it. There are much better times ahead - I promise!!!!! Please keep talking and posting if you can. We all want to have updates on how you are doing. And if you can’t - I get that too. I didn’t post anything for a year during 2022-2023. I was not even able, just barely surviving. It has gotten so much better now. Just hang in there!!!!!! XOXOXOXO ♥️♥️♥️♥️
DandelionDiaries has a health journal that she tracks tons of stuff in. I’ve used a heath planner for 4-5 years now and this year I took a lot of inspiration from her. Personally my right page of the weekly section looks a lot different. I have it divided into three sections I movement/appts/treatments (that way I can see if something caused a flair or a reaction), symptoms, PNR meds (I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome) so far her layout is amazing! My doctors even comment on it frequently and are impressed with the information I can provide. It looks super overwhelming at first, but each day actually takes 5-10 mins to fill out every day. One thing I did to cut the time down was set up all of the trackers for the whole year. Now I just go in at the end of the day, list the food I ate, any PNR meds I took, any symptoms, and fill out the tracker. I use a sterling ink N1/TN so I have loads of pages where I also keep notes from appointments and a running list/tally of medical expenses.
I've never wanted to crawl through my TV and hug someone before so badly. I'm going through some similar stuff along with experiencing menopause (I'm 48) I wish I had some great advice...I too am on information overload and not to mention the info out there and doing research causes me anxiety! Sending you a lot of love and you'll be in my prayers tonight ❤
Aw you are too sweet! I hope you find the answers you are looking for. This has been quite a journey for sure, a lot of us are going through it so hang in there. As I figure stuff out I will definitely share.
Please, don't apologize! All this is overwhelming, and your feelings are very valid. Your plate is beyond full. Sometimes you just have to let it out, and there is no shame or judgement. If I could give you a hug to help you feel better I would.
Struggle is struggle my friend DO NOT APOLOGIZE. I totally understand. Its been a downward spiral for me too since 2021 for me too. I understand every womans pain. perimenopause, autoimmune and thyroid issues are a lethal combo. Hang in there ❤ Sending you hugs and prayers to recover 100% and feel better.
Menopause: I noticed when I had more carb or sugar type foods, hot flashes would be worse. A food, mood, poop journal is a very wise choice 💕. Also, now that I’m in menopause I understand why older women either have short hair or were their hair in a bun. Menopause hair sucks!!! 😂 Hope you feel better very soon!
Heather, never apologize about taking care of yourself. It seems like so many of us including me are going thru this now. I am on the other side of the thyroid spectrum I have hashimotos and my thyroid was removed due to nodules and stage one cancer. Talk about ick fatigue etc brain fog exhaustion and so many other things. I am totally overwhelmed by all of it. I feel ta
It is so terrible. It has been a frustrating time indeed and getting to the true root cause is always a challenge. I hope you find some relief soon too. Hugs!
Please don't cry, I think this was meant to be my first video of yours. I understand how pain affects everything. From the physical to the mental. I'm greatful you and your daughter are getting better. It's hard to move through life with chronic pain. I myself have a pain pump embedded in my stomach. I know you don't know me, but I can be someone you could talk to...a new friend ❤❤ please get your head up.…
I had a cortisone shot in my hip due to arthritis and never ever again. I had not as bad reaction, but bad enough. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that.
Heather, I am so sorry you went through all of this and are still going through it. I can relate to the brain not connecting that we are older. I will turn 53 in May, and my brain still swears we are 30 (as I sit here with a nagging Tennis Elbow from overdoing it). I will not give in, but it is not easy to acknowledge that we have to give our bodies some grace.
Yes, I certainly think in my mind I am younger but my body certainly disagrees🙈. I cannot wait to get to the other side of this. Both for my mental health and my poor children and husband that are taking up all of my slack.
I also have Graves, diabetes, fibro, RA blah blah blah…. I once got a cortisone shot for a frozen shoulder and it threw my body into a total tailspin for like a month! So no more shots for me. I totally understand.❤
Keeping you in prayer! I have bouts of autoimmune flare-ups (dr’s still don’t know what) every 2 years and it lasts about 3-4 months so my heart is with you. {{{{hugs}}}}. Thanks for sharing your heart and I pray you start feeling better soon. ❤️
Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate you being real. I’m a mom and I’m in perimenopause. I suffer from allergies since I was a child, so I completely related to the hives, and allergy reactions you stated. As far as communities for perimenopause, menopause, that are online, I do follow Dr. Mary Claire Haver, MD. She is awesome with everything menopause. She has a RUclips channel, and is great! I will definitely be praying for you!! God bless you!!
l-theanine balances out thyroid levels, if too high or too low. yet another pill that helped me greatly, i was hypo. did you know that your thyroid needs selenium to process iodine? it also chelates heavy metals, and i'm wondering if you a nickel allergy that you are unaware of? sorry for your troubles, i hope things get better soon!
do you have mercury almalgum tooth fillings? you need selenium, one every other day for a week, then one pill every three days for the rest of the month. either way, you need to get the heavy metals out! don't over do it, selenium can become toxic if taken too much or too long. @@cerealnana
do you take a mineral pill or everyday vitamin, flintstones vitamins were toxic! soda pop was found to have cadmium in it recently! clay therapies can be toxic. etc. @@cerealnana
I already do a supplement with selenium. Been working on heavy metals, I am saving up to get my fillings changed. Thankfully I don't have tons. It's a VERY expensive venture. Unfortunately what I saved has to pay my current medical bills now, so I will need to start over, but it is definitely on my list for this year. Thanks for your input💜
i urge you to get and research the soursop fruit, but honestly, what helped before that was a parasite killer, wormwood, clove, walnut hull, pumpkin seed mix, apparently some parasites are so similar in cell wall markers to our own, that as our body attacks them, the specific weapons it makes end up targeting good lookalike cells too. good luck, may god bless you. @@plannermumsy
so sorry. there is a tumor fighting fruit called soursop fruit, it works by helping the body identify your cells from foreign and cancerous cells. it helped me greatly with my autoimmune psoriasis. and it took my dad's lumps away, which is why i thought i should try it!
Don’t apologize! Thank you for being real and sharing your life with us!!! I just want to give you a big hug from one mom to another!
Thank you💜
Of course! ❤
So sorry this has occurred. Moms are expected to be invulnerable but we are real breathing humans. Prayers for your healing and strength. 🙏
