This made me laugh so much. I'm going to tell my niece to go around and ask the neighbors if they need a brush washing service for their makeup brushes, like kids do for mowing lawns. 🤣🤣
Hey Angelica, love this video!! Can you do a video talking about your favourite formulas for eyeshadows? Like comparing BH, Lethal, Ace Beauté and all different formulas on like blendibility, creaminess and so on? Would reeeeaally enjoy that! :D
I love COSRX and use their snail mucin essence but my favorite is their oil free moisturizer with birch sap. I sometimes use their hyaluronic hydra power essence which is a gel and sinks easily in as well as their propolis light ampoule during the winter because it is a little more heavy duty! Try it all! It’s amazing!
Yes!! Please include skin care. It's inevitable our aging process, so its helpful to hear other options coming from you. I'm interested in the snail essence and the cooling mask. 😊 Thank you
CosRx is lovely! I am really loving their AHA BHA Vitamin C toner. Apply it with a cotton round after you cleanse your face and then give it about 5 minutes before you apply the rest of your skin routine. It makes your skin so smooth. It does a lovely job of removing dead skin. I have psoriasis/dry skin and it's gentle enough for my sensitive skin. :)
@@hazardsigns It really is, I'm on my 3rd bottle atm lol. Definitely my most repurchased item in a short amount of time. Only following the number of times I've purchased the It's Skin hyaluronic acid line lol
I love the gel mask. They also make a honey one that is awesome. It takes a little xtra time to wash off, but makes my skin so soft. Love the eyeshadow colors.
10/10 hair day! I like cosrx and the brand Juliette has a gun. I hope they come out with another sampler for xmas. Been really feeling grungy colors lately... love that "dirty lime pastel."
The brush tip is something I noticed recently and now you’ve confirmed it! 😆 I tend to like how my makeup looks with smaller, detailed brushes than big puffy ones, but I never made the connection until I started looking up tutorials on how to do makeup for my eye and face shape.
I got a Molton Brown shower gel sampler a few years ago at a Black Friday sale and it smells AMAZING--it is so beyond othershower gels, it's like Ben and Jerry's to store brand ice cream.
I struggle so much with liquid eyeliner. The eyeliner from Half Magic is a life saver because I can use it for wings, expecially with my wrinkly 48 year old eyes!!
Trying to resist the temptation to buy that Ace Beauté palette, but that look is so awesome that I might cave if it's in stock when I'm ordering some of their other palettes on Black Friday.
I love the Pixi peel and polish, it is a holy grail product for me and I've been using it for years now. Molton Brown really do make beautiful scents I love gingerlily.
I kind of want to see you try and do a smokey brown musturd or brown burgundy 90s grungey look, more round smokey shape and more smoke under lash line is different for you but I kind of want you to try it and go all out ! I think it would look hella awesome and telling us your favorite parts of the 90s or if you feel comfortable your favorite memories of that time :) I want all the nostalgia haha - also would be a good push out of your comfort zone? What do you think?
I tried some make-up hack mixing powder bronzer with you primer to make a cream bronzer and I really did love it. I was able to make it more of a contour because it's a struggle finding cream contour not warm and not too dark for my fair skin plus it seemed to add coverage instead of taking it away like cheek products sometimes do.
I adore Molton Brown, as does my husband. His favourite was the Silver Birch which has been discontinued but there are no many other lovely ones to pick from. I love the Rhubarb one.
I love Not A Perfume and the Intense version as well. It smells good on me both as a single note and layered with another scent. Definitely a great find!
That palette looks gorgeous and it’s giving me a little bit of Fall Magic vibes 🤤🤤💜💚🧡 I do have Unearthlys Vitality&Weirdos and both Oden’s eye Christmas palettes on the way so I think I’m good for the rest of the year 😅😅
Yessss I love your descriptions! Please never stop with them! I love how I know exactly what I get when I order by your recommendations 💟 Thank you for that!
Not a perfume at first didnt smell on me... after fifteen minutes i start smelling a little bit like a dirty old man and also like plastic somehow hahahhaha
@@teacheschem noooo its totally me alot of perfumes turn very sharp on me, and get a smell that i can only describe as plasticy. I just ordered a maison margiela sampler and the sailing day smells awful on me like a sweaty man im telling you xD its my weird ph its a struggle xD
I got the Laura Mercier hand cream in almond and coconut and it smelt amazing right from the tube. After 5 minutes it turned on me and smelt so bad I had to get out of bed to wash it off. A while later I saw a Tati video where she mentioned it turned on her as well. That is the only time anything has turned on me and it was so bad and smelt so strong.
Cetalox (a.k.a Ambroxan) is a fantastic aromachemical that you can order pure online for a few dollars. Ok, you have to mix it with perfumer's alcohol or Everclear to make it wearable (and if you're an entrepreneur sell it on Amazon at a markup like many already do!) Not a major concern. I guess you could buy multichrpme pigments online and make your own Clionadh dupes? Sometimes I'm just a little cynical, but *everything* in commercial beauty is colossally marked up. But *one* ingredient you can by for a fraction of the cost?
Oils in products aren’t hydrating, they’re moisturizing. Oils sit on top of the skin and are protective, keeping your natural hydration in. Water based products (especially ones with humectants) add hydration to the skin, but don’t make your skin oily. Anyways I love skincare & especially Korean and Japanese skincare. They’re often more affordable then western brands but with more innovative ingredients. I have dry skin but I rec for all skin types a gel moisturizer. I layer my skincare so I don’t necessarily need a heavy skin cream (tho I like them at night in winter.) I think tho you’d love the Japanese brand Hado Labo’s, Tokyo gel cream. It’s got urea as the 2nd ingredient and it’s an amazing ingredient bc it’s a humectant and it also helps get rid of dry dead skin. It’s like a very gentle exfoliator. My kid has eczema & her skin is very sensitive but she uses it too. I’m a big fan of Hado Labo (also called Rhoto Mentholatum) but in the past they were hard to buy from bc their packaging was all in Japanese and many of the products resembled each other. But they’ve got a few products they’ve sold for westerners and my fav is the Tokyo gel cream. (Tho all my other favs are the og ones with the Japanese labels😐.) Also if you like the Cosrx snail essence I’ve heard amazing things about the snail eye cream (from ppl who aren’t the biggest fans of eye creams) & I highly rec the snail 92 all in one cream. It’s like a thicker more hydrating essence. It’s very slimey but it’s so nice. Me & my kid both love it. It’s a hydrating cream vs a moisturizing cream & so it works for dry and oily skin. For me I just layer hydrating serums and essences under it & top with an occlusive layer at night, but if you used it without all the hydrating serums & didn’t use an occlusive layer it would be great for normal skin in a humid environment.
I have been waiting for you to do a video on the Ace Beaute ambiance palette. I really liked the color story when they first showed it. Thanks for the video and recommendations!
I'm going to wait on the Rephyr brushes as there's only 2 in that collection I really want so I'll wait for them to be available solo. Now I have quite a lot of their brushes, I realise I don't need every release. I got the original set and have duplicates of the ones I really love and then I have bought individual brushes. I did buy, I think it was last years holiday set, with the big powder brush. I love that brush!
Lisa Eldridge makes amazing lipsticks. Love them. Still need to try her other products; saving to buy, but heard good things about them. Maybe you can try a variety of items from her line, if you haven't already & do a review on them.
I have used so many good pixie products, both skincare and makeup. I will def look into the enzyme scrub as I use one now that is way overpriced. I was drooling watching that shadow go on! Ace just has such killer color stories!
I wonder if the weird eyeliner would work better with more stamp like motions where you can place and roll instead of swiping like a brush or felt tip? I apply liner in much fewer strokes than you did here, partly because on my hooded eyes I don't do any wing (only extend a few dots past the lash line), and partly because I don't go back on my line to keep it super thin. For that reason I prefer stiff liner tips (felt tip pens) which this one looks to be.
I'm looking at the colours you chose for your eye look 🤔 In an effort to shop my stash, I think I could replicate the look with the (hopefully arriving soon) Merry Christmas palette. Especially since I have about 4 variations of the acid yellow matte too. It looks stunning, so I'm excited to try to do something similar. Total autumnal colours 🥰
I am so curious about the Not a Perfume now, I haven't heard of it before but I love unique scents but not overpowering ones... BTW the palette is gorgeous I was hoping you would have added a dark green undereye, I love when you mix colors ❤️
I'm interested in the eyeshadow palette, the pixie scrub stuff and the mask. I have been using the cosrx product for a couple years at this point. I love the hydration it gives but sometimes I notice pilling with it depending upon what I use over it.

CosRX is one of my favoritebrand. Their Rice facemask is so nice. 😃 Since it is an american site I have to compare it with site located in EU. Was looking to buy som products from them. I saw that Kicks sell them now but have not seen them in stock. 🤔
I love snail mucin!! My Walmart finally started carrying more "off" brands. For those of you loving the eyelook but don't want to order Ace, I JUST bought the Hard Candy quad @ Walmart, the yellow and brown one for $5, I had the same look yesterday. I am really surprised at their quality and I want to go back and get their new palettes. I own the Fall Leaves palette by Ace and I really enjoy how saturated the mattes are but you're also able to blend out the edges. Yes to more skincare intros! I swear by Pixi's rose balm, LOVE it for when my skin wants NO other skincare. Cheers :)
