I miss this and 3's Company. 3's Company was and still is my favorite show. I can watch that show and never get sick of it. I also had such a crush on John Ritter.
After Three's a Crowd's first season (1984-85) ABC was "on the fence" about whether to renew it. John Ritter had said that unless ABC committed to a full-season renewal he wouldn't continue on the show. When ABC only offered to renew the show for 13 episodes it was canceled altogether. Mary Cadorette ("Vickie") has said that a storyline was already in the works for the second season where she would leave the airlines she worked for and become a "weather girl" for a local TV station with Stuart Pankin added to the cast as the station manager. Ultimately Jack and Vicki would get married.
These theme songs are so bittersweet. They remind me of my childhood and make me smile, but on the other hand, I think about my mom, grandma and aunt who are not longer here on this earth with me and get a little sad. I guess this is all part of being middle aged.
I wish that this show would have lasted for a few years. John Ritter was really great on Three's Company. Three's Company was really great. It is really sad that John Ritter is no longer around but I think that his memory will live on forever
Recently rediscovered this show. I liked it back in the day, but I've always loved Three's Company. Love this theme song as well. The 70s & 80s was the Golden Age of TV theme songs. You can catch this show on Sunday mornings @ 8AM on channel 1250 if you have Spectrum...
It used to air in reruns at Six Thirty pm Monday through Friday following an episode of "Three's Company" in the early '90s. Given that "Three's a Crowd" only ran 1 season it's never had a lengthy rerun life. Interestingly, it ran in reruns as "Three's Company, Too" instead of it's official "Three's a Crowd" title. I seen all the episodes back then but I hadn't seen any on TV since.
While it didn't actually happen, what if it was revealed that Vicky's mother was Mona from "Who's the Boss?" and therefore Angela would've been her sister?
Threes a Crowd can be seen for free now on You Tube. Only ran 1 season, but all episodes are here .ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=three%27s+a+crowd+ lYaayyy!

+Tim Fowler This reminds me of a situation where someone was demonstrating a turntable, and only played a bit of a song because he was concerned about copyright issues. Yet COUNTLESS people post not only full albums, but tv shows AND films. I'm just saying I wouldn't lose any sleep over this Tim.
@@Sarasdad91 I agree. I'm actually writing a fan fiction at present where Vicky breaks up with Jack over a squabble and he ends up falling for a waitress at the Regal Beagle who isn't afraid of marriage.

Is there anywhere else to watch it? RUclips blocked it.
@@dannigro8794 IDK. I didn't realize RUclips blocked it. I got it on a micro SD card on my phone, so I haven't been watching it on YT...I am sorry.
TimeRider762 Lol it’s ok. I DVRed all the eps on Antenna and watched them a couple months ago. It sucks they weren’t released on dvd.
Yeh it does suck there's no DVDs. Family has been asking me to burn them copies just for watching.

I just figured it was the right thing to do lol. Thanks for the response.
This show sucked! Sorry...I am a Threes Company fan and loved John Ritter but this was awful.
I agree. The show could've been better. Perhaps would've been if they'd had Jack fall in Love with Janet instead of a pretty girl who couldn't act....

Hated this show. Sucked!
Carmen Frisicaro If you hated it so bad, why are you even listening to the theme?
I actually liked the theme to this. Hated the show. Joe Raposo always wrote good tunes.
I stand corrected. It was not Joe Raposo who wrote the theme. I think it was Michael lloyd
Always liked this theme better than the Threes company theme. But yes, Threes Company was a better comedy.
The girlfriend was beautiful but soooooo boring and annoying.
