    "The writing on Wanda, and her love and trauma was phenomenal."
    And then Multiverse of Madness comes along....
    (This show was phenomenal! And its great you had the chance to check it out)

      The level of complexity and detail in this show was absolutely incredible. WandaVision, in my opinion, is peak MCU writing (and I'm not just saying it bc I wrote my Master's Thesis on it :D), but man, MoM really trashed all of it.

    As a telepath, Wanda knew that the townspeople weren't ready to receive her apology fresh off their emancipation. Monica went to her to show that she understood where Wanda was coming from.

    • @jr4android
      @jr4android 4 месяца назад

      I'm sorry, but no. stop excusing her behavior. it's not that they weren't ready to receive her apology. she is wrong for running off without doing anything to make up for the damage she caused. i love her, but no matter how you spin it, wanda is a villain in this show. she's evil. and then in the end she doesn't even do anything to make up for the evil she's done.

    • @AndreMoore1978

      @jr4android That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I disagree, and that's okay. 😎

    • @jr4android
      @jr4android 4 месяца назад

      @@AndreMoore1978 no. thats not opinion. that’s quite literally a fact. you literally invented the idea that “the townspeople weren’t ready to receive her apology” in order to excuse wanda’s awful behavior. i’m explaining to you exactly what she literally did. if you don’t think mind controlling people, and hurting them, and then running off without at least an apology is evil, that’s weird.

    • @AndreMoore1978
      @AndreMoore1978 4 месяца назад +2

      @jr4android Like I said. That's your opinion. Those who understand that people have complex emotions behave differently when dealing with their trauma. That was the whole point of the series. If you missed that, I'm not gonna write a two page essay trying to explain it to you.
      When she was brought back to her senses and acknowledged how she violated their minds, she knew the township weren't ready to hear her say, "I'm sorry." Monica went to her to show her needed Empathy.

    • @jr4android
      @jr4android 4 месяца назад

      @@AndreMoore1978 i am very familiar with trauma. i was literally a psych major in undergrad lmao. wanda’s trauma does not excuse her actions. there are people with trauma who murder others. their trauma does not excuse the murders. and again, you’re creating and projecting this idea that wanda “knew the township wasn’t ready hear her say im sorry” and it is absolutely ridiculous. your entire argument is based on this false idea you’ve created in your mind and it’s why you keep making excuses for the awful things wanda did.
      no matter how you spin it, wanda was mind controlling people so that she could live her fantasy. she was even AWARE she was doing it and continued to do it. when vision tried to stop her, she refused. and then when she finally accepted that she WAS hurting people, she runs away to read an evil book instead of just saying “i’m sorry” to ANYONE. the hoops you’re jumping through to excuse this is hilarious.

    I love watching your reactions so much. I clicked in this video so fast!
    One thing about the Darkhold that they didn't explain is that it corrupts everyone who ever reads it. In Agents of Shield, it even corrupted A FREAKING ROBOT!
    That's a hint on what kind of person Wanda will be the next time we see her.

    I always enjoy your thoughts and predictions at the end, especially knowing what's to come. I won't spoil anything by saying how accurate your predictions may or may not be, but I do agree about the Wanda and Monica scene at the end. I would've preferred it if Wanda hadn't said anything at all and had just flown away instead.

    She's NOT CHOKING PEOPLE
    Her magic expresses and entraps others in her mental state
    She sought escapism within herself so the town became a sitcom
    When she felt suffocated by the burden of realising what she has done... That too is what's precisely reflected.

    What a great series. So different. So wonderful to see the range Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. And the addition of Kathryn Hahn to the MCU. You are ready for Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness now. Would be a good Halloween season movie. Perhaps watch Spiderman: No way Home before that.

    "Girl, you damned?"
    Not exactly. The Darkhold, also known as the Book of the Damned or the Book of Sins, is a powerful repository of knowledge of all dark magic, and even the most powerful magic of all, which Wanda possesses - Chaos Magic. It is called the Book of the Damned because anyone who reads it will have their mind and soul coruppted, leading to their damnation. In the comics, Wanda is the only one who can it read while resisting its influence because of her connection to its author (Elder God of Chaos), aside from Doctor Doom who reads it indirectly. But unfortunately, she cannot resist whenever she's being possessed by the author.
