I tried to get it fixed under warranty but they refused and said it was fine. That they had pressure tested it. And here i am filling it up like crazy 🙄 clio 2020 1.5 dci
This is the new part number I assembled. The part that failed I don't know what its number is. According to the vehicle model, I ordered the part and this is what I received.
If everything is functioning the dashboard will tell you that your engine is running to hot,so normally you will have time to stop and atleast refill the cooling fluid.ofcourse this also depends on ; how big the leak is and the kind of climate your in.my clio has a leak right where the thermostate housing mounts to the engine block, was running hot, Refilled and noticed that it was just a minor leak.i will keep checking the cooling fluid several times a week, already bought the thermostate and will change it in spring time due to the weather and i will have to do it outside.
