You breathed a higher level to these patterns with your additional suggestions. Plus saved us some $ by reminding us of similar patterns that we probably already own!
Thank you so much! It's my goal to give the patterns a new look and point out similar patterns that may already be in your stash. Nobody wants to buy a pattern only to find they already have something similar. Thank you for watching! As always, I appreciate your feedback
You have a great sense of style. I wouldn’t even consider buying any of these patterns if it wasn’t for your commentary and inspiration. Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for your time. I like looking at the inspiration photos compared to the sewing patterns. I don't see anything groundbreaking, though. Is it me, or are these designs just too basic?
I don't disagree that there are "basic" and easy to sew patterns that appear to be reproductions. At times, this can be a great thing since beginners need a great place to start and a wonderful sewing experience. There are a few advanced sewing patterns that are quite beautiful. I've been trying to advance by building and hacking patterns. So personally, I look for patterns that I can use as a base or foundation and build what I want from there. I understand that everyone doesn't have time, the skills, or the patience to do this. But the sewing community and resources have grown so much. We are bound to get repeats from time to time. Thanks for your insights. Happy sewing!
I mean, sew a more structured bra into the garment...like maybe put cups into the shelf bra. Dunno. I don't like strapless bras in general because they create a long dent above the breasts that's visible under a knit.
This sounds like an interesting idea! I never thought about that. I honestly don't know. But it sounds promising. I would try it! And if you do, please let me know if that works.

You did a lot of work finding those fashion inspirations. Very inspiring! Thanks!!!
Thank you, friend! It's exciting to know that the fashion inspiration was inspiring! Happy sewing!
Yes, yes. I was waiting for this review as well.
Aww!!! Thank you! You're so supportive!
@crumpetsteaandsewing A supportive community benefits.
I love your commentary so much and look forward to these videos!
I'm very pleased to hear that 😀

Well, thank you! That's a lovely compliment. I hope you found at least one pattern that you like. Blessings!
I always appreciate your honest commentary. SS3100 with a silky print fabric would make a gorgeous Valentines dress. Thanks for sharing
I agree! The pattern calls for sheer fabric. But I can most definitely see this in a silky fabric. Thanks for watching!
S3098 is EVERYTHING! Very Zimmerman inspired! This was a great video, Tea! You really broke every new pattern down and gave awesome recs.
You are absolutely right! It is very much similar to a Zimmermann design. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Do you think you could put a "real" bra, instead of a shelf bra into the MiMiG knit dress?
How do you mean? Do you mean sew cups into the fabric instead of a shelf bra or just omit the shelf bra and wear a bra?
