    Sri Lankan singer, music director and teacher Rohana Baddage contributed to Sri Lankan music through his original compositions. He has written books about his musical views. He composed music for Gajaman Puwatha and other stage dramas.
    He is well respected for his knowledge about folk traditions and cultural nuances. He has given lectures at Universities on these subjects.

    Mr. Baddage’s ‘Sasanda’ song was featured on Los Angeles World Chart Show in 1996. It went into the top 20 and was the only song selected from Asia. During that year, the song was played in 240 countries.
