I'm not sure how I feel about this one. A lot of it feels a bit off, but I'm hoping it'll all make sense in the end...because suddenly vampires exist on par with gods, and honestly Blade falling...kinda figured he'd off himself if that ever started to happen. I really hope this isn't the start of another arc we choose not to talk about.
I felt EXACTLY the same way… this seems… off.
@@Leadeshipcoach I'm calling it now: This is all happening inside Blade's mind. It's probably something stupid like Dracula's blood trying to show him what he could become if he just let go of his humanity. That, or we are about to see the birth of Marvel Vampires, like the Marvel Zombies universe, and it'll just be some offshoot universe we rarely remember.

I'm guessing Blade isn't really Blade, as we saw him at the end of his fight with The Adanna saying he would "do nothing"
I mean in his series Dracula made a good argument for embracing his vampiric origins and he DID drink Dracula’s blood 🤷🏿

This is pretty interesting so far. I'm loving the Blade content marvel is doing so far. I gotta do some catching up, but its interesting to see Blade as a villain. And these super vampire things are kinda epic ngl. I like the designs and I like that they're a threat. T'challa is the goat too! Hopefully we get some Hulk in this one. I'm tired of not seeing Hulk participate in a lot of these world ending Avengers level threats.
If I were a betting man I’d say this has something to do with Blade drinking Draculas blood- Like maybe him drinking that blood has made it so Dracula can control his body, either by inhabiting it, or as a thrall. And over the course of this series Blade is gonna be trying to fight his urge to do Draculas bidding.
I think Dracula and Bloodline are going to be the heroes of this story.. at least that’s how it’s looking so far

I don't know how much sense this really makes, re: Blade. At the end of his series, he and his girls went off to hunt evil. HOw did we get from "Let's go hunt evil" to " I'm with the blood suckers, now. Let's knock the humans off the top of the hill."
I'm for the ride, but atm, I'm just not seeing it.

Honestly, I should have seen it coming that Blade was the villain. He was foreshadowed when he got Dracula's powers. Is there someone else controlling things from behind the scenes?
I'm kinda confused how Dracula's blood make Blade go absolute evil mastermind on the world... or that this is the works of the Adana... It feels way more like the Adana did something to Blade by getting defeated by him.. But that does not work since He was more present while she was being killed by Draven... But I guess why is going to be the main story with the side problem of why has an avenger turn coated this much.

I was just thinking well those are good enemies for Blade, glad to see vampire threats worth their salt but its also the guy I want them to fight. It's an oh well situation. Also Wanda did do that, took time to undo most of it, I just can't help not to like Sam as Captain America I liked the wings in his former persona.
Man this team of Avengers got washed, and Blade took out presumably Miles first so I want to see Peter in this.

I have questions. How did Blade turn Dr Strange into a vampire when we saw in the Adana series that Dr. Strange knew about the Adana and kind of helped Blade. So how didn't he know about these vampires? And besides that, the world's 2 most powerful sorcerers don't have any immediate contingencies for vampires? Especially since Dracula moved to Chernobyl. Dr. Doom has but they don't? 🤔.
And isn't it convenient that right after the Adana is "killed" that Blade because the Mastermind of the vampire nation?
I'm willing to bet it's not him because he does say that after a thousand years......Blade hasn't been around that long.
Also, Isn't TChalla a mystic if the dead? Wasn't that a thing?

You mean to tell me the voice we read at the beginning of the book talking about "This is my work. This has ALWAYS been my work. And after SO VERY LONG..." is Blade? Nah, not his style. I smell a larger threat at work. Blade is being manipulated/controlled, and Blade having drank Dracula's blood probably made it easier for whoever the big bad is (Adana, maybe?) to take control of his dark side.

I feel like BP always gets this role(or similar) in elseworld stories . And I know you have to remove the problem solvers but man it feels meh. Like Thor shouldn't have been in the story but ig writers need to jobber someone and it's always him or the hulk

I still feel this event came out of nowhere, like there is literally no set up for this and the connection to the previous Blade run feels very vague. Also how the hell did they get Thor, who recently defeated a God of Gods (Toranos) and how did they get Scarlet Witch who recently absorbed Chthon. How did T'Challa, a necromancer, become so easily infected by the vampires!! Freaking DOCTOR STRANGE didn't have any idea of this???? I find it unnecessary to nerf super-powerful characters in events when instead they could have them just cornered and having to use obscure abilities from previous stories. Big Events are a great opportunity to reinforce continuity instead of nerfing characters to death.
This also feels like a slightly better re-hash of King in Black. Villains have the same motivation. And an absurd amount of tie-ins (of which only the Avengers issues have been good)

I can deal with this if they not only make Blade the villain, but Ashley keep him a villain forever more.
We can have comedy RUclips channels, making reference to Wesley Snipes is the real hero of the MCU having his blade movie actually save marvel comics altogether.
The thing that this channel does far better than Marvel would ever do on their own is linking the stories of blades miniseries to this event comic. Likely, the editors are marvel. Don’t have a clue how important that is, and those stories are independent as hell, not connected in the least.
A larger problem is using blade the vampire slayer as someone who has the mastermind capabilities of pulling this off.. Another problem: if this is Dracula controlling him, he doesn’t have this level of subtlety, haven’t been a general and leader of men and is very prideful .
Now, With Clea becoming Doctor Strange and having the power of the Faultine Makes a lot of this highly improbable and feeling like it’s coming out of nowhere

Dracula's curse the virus of the vampire may have evolved touched by an entity from the darkness of the underworld the forces of which are very old older than Galactus or The One Above All and connected to everything in between the light in the darkest of shadows something old is there inside a powerful negative area of power cosmic like a dark phoenix the truth of vampires is coming, the marvels anti-life attached to every darkness users and Knull is ready to become Blade infusions with vampire and dark Forse the rise of Vampires and so much blood loss. Blood Of Dracula + Blade = Knull and something else will spill into existence an absolute nightmare the rebirth of Nightmare?
