Sunset at Bukit Merese - Lombok, Indonesia

The best place to watch the sunset in the south of Lombok has to be Bukit Merese. It is 20 minutes drive from Kuta Lombok and next to Tanjung Aan Beach.
Each afternoon, lots of people walk up the hill, find a spot to sit and relax and wait for the beautiful colours to light up the sky as the sun sets.
There are quite a few monkeys up there, so it's best not to have food with you.
The sun sets around 6.30ish so it's good to try and get up there by around 5.30pm.
