Was having ALOT of trouble breaking down people lately using the 41212(2) because like auzio said now alot of people have fb varane and other really op CBs so they would just abstruct my strikers run or eventually catch up to them if they had to control a lobbed through ball... I have always played with 41212 and 41212 (2) since fifa 07.. but this year I've been playing Fifa 442 and 4222.. these are the most meta formations. Anyone who hasn't got 'unrealistic defenders' like flashback Varane and TotyHM Rudiger, I would NOT recommend 72 Depth when defending because you will get outrun by players with unrealistic pace... you will keep getting countered. The best depth for defence is 55.

No you can have a different formation for every tactic bro I have 352 ultra defensive then 4321 defensive 442 balanced 4312 attacking and 4222 ultra attacking hope that helps mate

Try 70 bro I realised 70 makes it so much easier to defend you just need full backs with pace and can move well on the ball and it’s way easier, plus you’ve got that added help form your right and left mids when you put the come back on defence instruction. Just make sure you have one cm that can attack with ur strikers.

Leave Cancelo on 'stay back while attacking/cover centre' and KDB keep him balanced and cover centre.
I have cancelo and aouar, cancelo is stay back cover center aouar is balanced cover center, hope that helps
