Just for you to know There's another Holly novel coming It's gonna be about Holly being a bodyguard of a woman that is being harrased by a mysterious man. It's gonna be called "Always Holly".
@@imtalkingwaffles [spoilers] During the final scene Det. Hodges and Holly and Jerome go to the concert to try to stop Brady from carrying out his plan. When they arrive at the venue, the security detail is distracted and a janitor (!!) let's the group in on a promise that they're police and there to help. -- In no reality would a member of staff allow a group of unknown people into a concert through the back door. It's just really implausible. I also have issues believing the level to which (retired) Hodges explored through this case and engaged in quite clearly illegal behavior without involving the actual police. But that part I can forgive, I guess, just to make the story possible. Hodges does at times feel conflicted about how involved he is, but chooses to ignore it and continue investigating. There were other issues I had as well, but those were the most egregious.
Did you like Holly's development or do you think she's overrated?
Great review!!! Thanks for the run down of each book - I am in agreement with many of your thoughts for sure!
Thanks!!
Holly is basically a modern interpretation of Carrie

Ouu this is great news! I didn’t know there was going to be another I’m really excited for this
I thought it was going to be called "we think not"
@antk8493 it changed name, but yes, it's the same novel
Its Hodges not Hodgens
Thanks for the breakdown! Mr Mercedes has moments but overall really did not enjoy that one. Seriously flaws in the story, especially the ending.
What did you find you didn’t enjoy about it?

@OwenL2020 true imagine saying you’re police to get in a Harry Styles concert or something. Doesn’t really add up 😂
