It's legitimately better than the original. Mike's vocals are significantly better, Andie's vocals were just as good if not slightly better, and Mike's acapella abilities actually fit the song's tone more than the original beat which was rather weak imho. The song is better as a smooth pop song than what the original was which sounds like an early draft.
