If you haven't, make sure to go to your windows settings and force your monitor's refresh rate to 144. It's normally defaulted to 60, though it seemed like your monitor automatically detects what it's connected to? Interesting feature.
Rhythm game considerations is a really nice thing to touch on, since I may have to eventually consider an upgrade for 144hz down the line but wasn't sure how much of an impact it made. Outside of that, it's hype to see any video pop up, I hope that you've been doing better with health and such.
if you wanna have a great smooth gaming experience i really suggest 144hz, as long as your PC can push that for the main games you play, you should be good.
@@xSuperKawaiiDesu oh okay, i just have had a benq monitor for a long time but I feel that I have massive input lag, so idk if people change anything because I have heard that changing the rgb range from limited to full is a thing. What picture mode do you put it on?
@@UneQ007 yeah still one of the daily drivers. no issues but i regularly go out while leaving my computer on (for like full days, in a row) so i get some burn in like effects every once in a while that goes away eventually but that's more my fault than anything lol. i do like this monitor but for current gaming needs i would go for something that has hdmi 2.1 so you're a little more ready for 120hz vrr stuff on ps5, but if that's not a concern then yeah this is fine. Dyac is better the higher the refresh rate though so if you're interested in that i would scale up for models with higher refresh
my understanding is that there's no built in speakers, the volume control is for the headphone jack, unfortunately. My secondary monitor has speakers built in but it's difficult from a quality perspective though having the option is nice. Wish I had mentioned it myself but it's not something that I use, sorry!
If you're coming from a tv or something, most likely yeah. Most tournament standard monitors have around the same amount of delay. Another option would be like the asus vx238h for 60hz but imo might as well scale up for eventual ps5 if you want to play fgs on it
Nah, its the fat white base ps4. Displayport for this monitor, hdmi for the other. Don't think I could get 144 from hdmi with my graphics card for w/e reason.
@@recozfn6757 i dont think base ps4 supports 2.0 or does 4k! You'd need a pro for that, but the monitor caps at 1080/144hz. If you were to use a ps5 on it'd be 1080/120hz
