Great video m8 . After all your analytical breakdown ive changed my opnion on gordon . His numbers are reallly impressive m8 . Only 1 concern the amount of time he falls over looking thing's and gets questionable decisions could i see myself then saying aww hes a Liverpool player now so thats acceptable im not sure i could m8 . If he joins and slot could get that out of his game hes all the tools to be a sucess at Anfield

Yeah, I remember Gordon diving against LFC to get a free kick on the edge of the area. There was zero contact and Robertson got carded.
The only question I have to ask about Gordon is that out of all the Newcastle team. Why is Newcastle trying to sell Gordon asking Liverpool to buy him. Liverpool won't buy him if there is a problem behind the scenes with Gordon

Sorry, but were you not watching Liverpool's finishing last season? Diaz's assists are down because the finishing across the board was dire. Liverpool created over 100 more chances than any other team in a top division across Europe. He was part of that in a season where his parents were kidnapped and held to ransom in a country where murders are common place. Key passes is way more important indicative of talent than assists, because you can't blame him for his teammates missing shots. That's why his xG + xA is higher than Gordon's at 90.7 vs 81.2. I do think he misses too many shots, but his energy on the pitch in chasing down players also restricts the opposition time on the ball. Also, a lot of Gordon's assists are going to be due to the huge number of penalties he gets. That will drop down if he puts on a Liverpool shirt, as LFC don't get them given as much as certain other clubs. These are two similar players. Replacing one with another would depend on price.
And you can't compare any EPL stats with the Primeira Liga in Portugal. It's a league with no strength in depth. Anyone playing there then playing in the EPL will find it much tougher to score and break down opposition defences. Try this comparison for Matheus Nunes in Primeira Liga vs EPL, or Antony from the Dutch league etc. So just forget all the Portuguese numbers.

@@AKMLFC For me, the problem is when to cash in on Salah on the other wing? FFP now has teeth, so huge Saudi money for an aging player can bring in a proven younger player or several scouted talents.

So tired of watching Diaz bomb down the wing only to stop and pass it backwards to robbo,virgil or into midfield, starting the whole attack from scratch
