Hang in there Lance, common sense will prevail!. Your Rally had better weather than mine and its summer here.
I think we will pull it off and august is our driest month so hopefully it goes ok but it is not until 2025
Great stew as always Lance. Good news that you acquired a manifold for the old Ford. Great footage of the old stationary engines. I’ve even thought that you should put a yes/no form on the end of the stew so we can all vote as well and bugger old Negative Nev. I’d love to see footage of your rally. Good luck.
G Day Peter, We got the rally through the meeting easily in the end, only 3 out of over 30 at the meeting didnt want it.
My but you do get yourself into trouble don't you 🤣 Camera doesn't do that engine you restored justice, it is awesome in the metal.
All keeps life interesting, lol.
G Day Lance, good onya Lance you've got to push ahead with the rally, what's the point of saving all the machinery if no one gets to see it, and if you don't raise funds the machines will just gather rust and dust and end up in a skip. bloody good tour of the field there as well, just one thing missing, a proper tractor, DB. lol
Debs and I went to the county show at Stockfield on Saturday, with all the lovely weather two days before, it was like Glastonbury, knee deep in mud, but you know what , it was extremely well supported, the public will turn out if you give them the venue, young and old love the old machines.

We have one member who has quite a few David Browns but he was away for this one. No use collecting all of this stuff to let it rot. Usually, it is gifted to an organization so they will look after it so time and money needs to be found somewhere.
hi lance , love the Nev stuff, always entertaining when you get a bit of drama between characters. Ive had a job enquiry about a heavily blanket weed infested (to the point of hard;y any grass) school playing field and was thinking about ground care equipment for the 135. ive not had a lot of experience with agricultrural impliments but was guessing some sort of weed and recultivation and reseed operations
I think I wouls slash it then work up to a roller or finishing mower over time.
