    Any chance you can list the actual names of these apps in the video notes above? There appear to be many copy-cat apps working off of nearly the same name as what you mention in the video. Thanks.

    I've tried Echolink on and off, but with all the repeaters it shows, it was hard to find one that people were actually using.

    What about logging on mobile? I have seen the likes of log4OM on PC. But if you work mainly portable /mobile you may not have a PC/laptop with you. Are there any good android logging apps?

    I hook my HT up to zello and set it to scan... then I take my phone with me and listen to my scanner remotely. I know there are apps that already do this, but I want to monitor specific feeds.

    When hams do DMR, they are not "ham radio operators". They are "internet operators". I realize that statement doesn't fit into this discussion, but I just felt like saying that.

    • @RingwayManchester
      @RingwayManchester  8 месяцев назад +2

      Not only doesn’t it fit, the statement is also wrong. DMR is a digital mode. Not all of it is internet linked.

    • @hillbillytarzan

      DMR is a digital mode, not internet

      I don't think so, cuz I don't think they would've uploaded these apps to the play store if you needed a license. Still, they can ask for the licence when you open the app but tbh I don't think so

      If you have problem with native english speakers, there is an option, just Switching ON captions, it almost 99% correct, there is only one error, instead of 73 it indicated 74 :)
