- Ustad Shahid Parvez played this in a house concert in Lahore, August 2006. It was organised by the Rauf Ansari Foundation and the All Pakistan Music Conference, Lahore.
Title should be: Ustad Shahid Parvez and his sitar take turns singing raag khamaj
The way Ustad ji plays it seems that Sitar itself is singing

I would be thankful if anyone can tell me if any recording of the thumris that Ustad sings in this clip is available and where.
Ishrat Ansari's organisation - Virsa- was supposed to publish all the concerts that USP played in Pakistan. Due to health reasons, this could not materialize. . I could also publish them but I don't see any point in doing that as almost everything he played in Pakistan is available on RUclips.
