Could you imagine when you killed a giant monster that nearly destroyed the city just to get that rock. But then realizing it was the mother who trying to get her egg, but then you're the only person who has to take care of it since the egg hatched and sees you as her parent.
I'd feel nothing but guilt and shame.

This scene really shows the moment of the feelings and emotions one has when becoming a parent and actually holding their newborn in their hands and feeling their innocence and warmth as everything changes in that one moment and it’s a beautiful change

The music, the cutie, his reaction, the clouds clearing in the background. Sweet scene in a great movie, I'm genuinely shocked at how much I loved the movie.
I have a soft spot for babies and animals. Seeing this little penguin lizard thing as baby just melt my heart. This reminded me how I react the same thing as this movie while holding a beautiful baby girl too.

Rewatching this again. I just realized how small Emi was at the beginning. She quite literally fit the palm of his hand. And then she grew so big, and later when she breaks her arm😢, and Kenji is holding her to his chest. You see that she’s the size of his forearm now. Ah gosh. I love her so much
