Ethernet is widely used in general computer networking around the world for last many years. But, In today’s new era, communication, security and bandwidth requirement within car, growing drastically as more and more advanced applications are emerging for example autonomous driving, enhanced safety and entertainment. The existing vehicle network such as LIN, CAN and Flex ray are not designed to meet today’s application requirements. Ethernet is providing solutions for today’s era applications challenges and emerging as desirable network within vehicle architecture.
