@@chelohmhyeah thats what I've been realizing lately is how out of time he gets. like song for the dead he never keeps time with the guitar he goes off and plays it as fast as he can. and his hits aren't very even either its just as fast as he can it feels like.
joeys always better. he adds a bit of energy and brut force. ive found Jon seems to slow things downw ay too much. now josh will usually start SFTD a good tempo, and jon slows it wayyy down, kills the drive
Mikey has been my absolute favorite addition to this group. Saw them the other night live in person and his energy is always off the charts, same with Troy.
I watch this; and every other show since October 2023 with a heavy heart. I had tickets for this show at The Great Saltair; Utah….. (which I had to travel 409 miles for) ……guess the doctor told them they couldn’t play that show either-initially postponed due to weather-weeks later; after finally recovering from the bitter disappointment of the postponement, eagerly awaiting the new date, they cancelled. 😞 😮😢😂 Such a total bummer! They were one of only 3 bands on my bucket list (I’m no spring chicken and the only person I know from Kanab, Utah that just LOVES tf out of this band!!) Still do always Will-I love QOTSA! Praying you might play again at a venue near me?? Or better yet-an acoustic night in our beautiful southern Utah desert 🌵 I did get turned onto The Viagara Boys, who were opening band- and have to say Thanks for that!! Definitely a fan!! S 11:23
Absolutely! Everyone sucks Dave's dick about how great the drumming is on Deaf, but if you really want to hear great, powerfu *and* wonderfully unorthodox rock drumming then listen to Era Vulgaris. First it Giveth might be a masterclass of technically impressive drumming but nothing hits like the machine-like grooves of Turnin' on the Screw. Feel like Homme really pushed Joey on that album and the end result was incredible. Always loved the faster tempos on stage too, personally I've always felt the band was at its very peak on the Lullabies tour, it was fast and sweaty and every song was wrapped up in those just-about-to-cum gasps from start to finish.
And ... Josh should've ignore that stupid little fuck? He shouldn't throw garbage at Josh. That's facing the consequences - first lesson of adult life for that little turd. He's now above 20's, hope that he learned something that day.

Probably their most ferocious performance ever. While sick too. Absolutely amazing
I bet he was on some good shit 😅
I loved opening up this video and seeing your comment. I know I'm in for a great show.
Not just sick, but SICK SICK SICK
"I can not be Killed by anything"
Josharonni Hommosapiens - 2008
Always great to hear In My Head and Hollow, even in a highly medicated form
I love Jon Theodore... but god damn, Joey Castillo is a fucking animal and I miss him in this band.
lots of power, but not so skillfull. No one knows its the perfect example.

Absolutely!
they're different drummers, but Jon has more dynamics. He also is way more serviceable for the slower tempo ballads that the band does now.
Mikey has been my absolute favorite addition to this group. Saw them the other night live in person and his energy is always off the charts, same with Troy.
I'd forgotten how aggressive this performance was.
While they’re sick too
43:55 If you’re looking for mad Josh
Wow, into the hollow. Pretty insane
Holy shit! This is what was missing from my life! 🖤
Rainy, cold Norwegian weather, but an ill band went on stage anyway; ─even kept playing after that idiot threw something at Josh.
Respect!
This show is ruthless.
A versão de Into the Hollow desse show é muito boa. Lembro de assistir várias vezes.
Misfit love 🤩 Great show! Thanks for posting😍 Do not F with Joshua or his people when he is sick period
perfect set list

Keeping rock alive, Thankyou Josh & QOTSA.
They were sick in this concert... And they had played aniway 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sick Sick Sick indeed
Justing by the weather. Every in the crowd was probably sick too.

I caught that
Man Joey is a beast on the drums. Love Jon but miss Joey for sure
Go see the Bronx. He’s a fucking monster with them
@@weedavid4924 I’ll do bro thanks for the recommendation
Josh looks jammed to the gills at :55. Awesome performance.
man towards the end josh definitely looks like he's fighting the urge to puke haha
52:13 badass as fuck
Best performance of millionaire in my opinion
All the fuck you energy they have towards people that tell you what to do was channelled into it.
Great intro 😁
Como eu amo esta banda! ❤❤❤
Guitar is his weapon and he came to K!ll it❤
This was just perfection. I thought for sure Josh was gonna clock that guy
hell yes
That version of Sick! Sick! Sick!
was/is the sickest.
Today, i may change...
Mark Lanegan ❤
Joey best qotsa drummer
no way.
No doubt ✌️

Era Vulgaris is the most underrated QOTSA Album
i just realized Natasha passed away 19 days after this show
So weird hearing them play In My Head without her
QOTSA were more Powerfull with Joé behind the Drums
absolutely incredible... if you like qotsa give us a chance?

Well if the kids a dummy 🤷🏾♀️
Does anyone know if you can see what they throw at Josh? I can’t seem to find the moment
Is what was thrown on the video? I didn't spot it
100th like
He called him d1ckless 😂
The piano is awful in this video but it’s crazy that Mikey was only 23 at the time of this performance
Josh shouldn't sing Nick songs. Not... like because I think Nick owns them, but because he can't pull it off.
I think Mikey can sing them but he doesn’t really let him sing it
Not for me, Josh has the best voice ever....
Audio is off
Rich country rock concerto is so Nice. Sad Shame only are The Wars you need to keep capitalism Wheels turning
Who’s idea was it to add that god awful piano? Sounded horrible
Can you do a new zealand one
