"Excellent job" is putting it mildly! I was very surprised by the very good blend of intercom and ambient audio. Being able to hear the occupants AND the engines is something that several channels I follow with several tens of thousands of subscribers still struggle with. I've seen a lot of great first videos like this on brand new channels that just seem to be forgotten afterwards, so please don't let that happen here! You've got talent and you can definitely grow from here!
Nice build and paint! -- and I'm not even fan of butterscotch leather... I still don't know the purpose of the little step looking tab behind the canard at the inboard side? Is it a trim tab? assist handle,VG? IDK, TIA
I’m curious, what’s the fuel burn and TAS at say 10500. Also what’s the full fuel payload? I visited the factory when I was in Florida, I love this twin.
Go to VelocityAircraft.com for all the specs. Also, more info about this V-Twin at www.legacy-innovations.com. Medium weight, cool day, Econ power, lean of peak, 10,5000: 186 TAS, GPH 13.3
I wonder if the Velocity landing approaches seem more "bumpy" than other aircraft? It seems to me that many of the Velocity landings I have watched on RUclips seem to be more exciting than the other planes I am interested in.
I think it was mentioned is the video, but, in any case, it was a very bumpy day. A bit sporting, in fact. No, I don't think the V-Twin is any more "bumpy" on approach than any of the other airplanes that I have flown. I can't speak to the single engine Velocity as I haven't flown in one.
I'm looking to build a twin Velocity aircraft, currently own and fly a Mooney. Would it be possible for me to fly in and talk with you guys about this aircraft of yours? I think for the $, this is better than a Baron or a Seneca. Thanks and fly safely.
Nicely done ! Thanks for posting.
A very nice twin Velocity. Keep on keeping on top of the clouds 😊
beautiful plane, i will one day build one.
great job

Who says we don’t have flying cars? 😁✌️
If I could afford a plane, this would be the one I would want.
