Despite the sound issues, we thought it is worth to share - showing the pure joy and power of this outstanding bass player and kind person. We had the honor to met him at performances with the I.M.F.s and also at the Warwick Bass Camp. A true inspiration for generations of bass players.

This man was the reason I played bass. I sent him an email in the early Netscape days and he was very nice and encouraging.. and I think I was at every concert he played in my city. What a wonderful human being.. always friendly, always in a good mood, loved what he did.. damn. I hit me hard when I saw he passed. See you in some years T.M., let's jam then.

I'm so sad about TM. He was a great musician & wonderful human being. I will never forget the times we hung out & talked about everything from buying a Jeep to different candle scents. You will always have a place in my heart boo. ❤

Loved this guy. I remember first hearing him on 'Great Wall Of China' by Billy Joel. Check it out if you haven't heard it...plus the remixed 'It's All About Soul', where you can actually hear him play, grooving on the 'and' all the way through. Tough to do. Talk about 'in the pocket'. Saw him in London at a bass conference in Earls Court once. Big giver...he championed beginners...non judgemental and ultra supportive of those just starting out on bass. Great smile, loud voice, infectious personality. Sorely missed.
