Beautiful cards! It’s always nice to review because it’s an awesome accent & with so many trying to do “new & wonderful” you miss out on other designs! I love Zeke’s as well! In Towson Maryland!
Hi Lorraine. It’s Sunday in Western Australian. I like your cards. When you come on ,it looks like you are looking right at me. Nice and warm today, suns out good day for washing while I go get my mug of tea.
Thanks for the revisit to this technique. When I get that edge you had on the Granny Apple Green piece, I run the bone folder over it...hi from Australia
Visited Ft. McHenry in 2016 on Flag DAy. What an awesome ceremony! And the presentation before you enter the grounds is breath taking! Would love to visit again.
You are so welcome, Kathy. You may remember that another step would be to color in the spotlighted piece while leaving the rest of it black and white. I will post some of these samples on FB soon. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hi. Thank you for sharing this, it's certainly something a little bit different. I think I'd be tempted to try and colour the little square on the monochrome one.😊
Yes, that's another step that I will post on FB soon for another suggestion. You can present it either way...color the little square and leave the rest black and white, or do the reverse... keep the little square uncolored and color the rest! Thanks for watching and for your comment! 😊
I have the Stampin up mug too. I took it home and showed my husband. I told him it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. He asked me what I have in it. I told him coffee and a popsicle!!! 😂😵💫🤣
Thanks for your question. That could be a different way to have a similar effect. One thing to consider, it might be tricky adhering a thin frame unless you use adhesive sheets. (You don't want glue spilling out around the thin frame.) Also, the additional cardstock gives it more stability and dimension. Another thing you can do with this, is to color in the part in the "highlighted" square on the black and white cards, and if you do, it would be easier to do it on a separate piece of cardstock. See my Facebook Page to see an example of how I did that to the Pale Papaya card. Thanks for thinking about this!

It is Tombow. That's interesting. Is this a concern because some people are allergic to it? Another option would be the Stampin Seal tape with the applicator.
Hi there! Thanks for watching, and for your comment. It certainly could have gone either way. I just felt I didn't want just all red, white and black on that one. Always good to play around and switch it up.
I know, when I'm live, it's a different type of video experience... more chit chat and talk. That's why I still like to do some straight tutorial videos as well... more straight and yo the point. I hope you can enjoy some of those.😉
Hi there! Just a reminder that this video from my Coffe and a Card series of events was a replay from a Facebook Live where people are often looking for conversation and current information. My regular recorded tutorials are more to the point with not much "chatter." Perhaps you would prefer those. Thanks for watching and for your feedback.
This was a FB Live event where conversation is expected and encouraged. I agree that watching replays and not being part of the chat are annoying. So, please feel free to skip ahead and enjoy the tutorial part. 😊

I think it is even showcased more with the double matting. Pretty. Thank you. I also love the dragonflies but wish they were brushed gold.
Thanks for your vote! YEs, dragonflies are nice too. In fact, you are making me think that the Dragonfly Garden set would work well with this design!

This is one of my favorites sets
Hi Louise! Thanks for watching. Which is one of your favorites (I used three here): Painted Poppies, Happiness Abounds or Artistically Inked?
Hi , thanks Lorraine!
Thanks for watching, Sherri! Nice to see you here.
Beautiful card but I have one question: Q. Why couldn’t we just place a red frame on the card base to highlight a certain area?
Thanks for your question. That could be a different way to have a similar effect. One thing to consider, it might be tricky adhering a thin frame unless you use adhesive sheets. (You don't want glue spilling out around the thin frame.)
