I became strongly influenced by spiritual teachings at an early age, joined an ashram to become a sanyasi, and left after becoming disillusioned. Now in Rahu Mahadasha after having rejected money and material ambition my whole life, am suddenly contemplating a turn in a material direction! However the 9th influence continues to be strong and will determine the rest of my life.

I have watched many videos on this and most of them give preachings on how to respect your gurus and follow religious practices with the Ketu placement in the 9th. I feel people with this placement have already been blind followers of faith/religious figures or disillusioned in some way in their past lives. My husband has Ra in 3H (saggitarius), never stepped out of his house till first 21yrs, then Ra mahadasha started and he came to USA, some travel for 4-5 years and again very little travel. Doesn’t talk to his father unless needed, very strong beliefs of his own which he doesn’t change despite wrong, kind of superstitious in several areas. Never religious till age of 35, couldn’t identify which god is who. My son has Ra + Me in 3H virgo with Me deep exaltation. He is running Ra MD since birth, not much travel. I see him detached with his father too.

I am from Peru and Parents are from a japanese new age religion, till 12 age I practiced transmiting energy from hands and believed all the myths of their religion, after reading all the books of Freud that were in dad's library, I convinced myself it was all cultural and my entire perception of my reality changed completely, and I became hard atheist. But that didn't make me feel complete, and now i am 30 and I fell humble through all the beauty that is in all kinds of knowledge and insights, that I really apreciate all your words in this video. As someone Saturn and Rahu in the 3rd house everything that you said was very true, friend. I am extraordinarily courageous. I am so enthusiastic on taking any sort of action. Nothing frightens me at all. In a way, I feel like someone who has ventured into hell with my courage and am currently on my way out of it. Nothing upsets me more than people who spend a whole lot of time deciding, weighing all possible outcomes before taking action, as if the output has to be guaranteed for the first step, the initial action, to be taken. In my mind the outcome means nothing; the action, everything. As for religion, (and really just about everything really) I have studied so many things, but believe in absolutely nothing. It is as if I have the seed of a critic inside of me at all times, and the minute I start doing something that seed gets all the resources that it needs to turn into a tree, and the next thing that you know I am breaking away from what I wanted to do and am off to do something else, as if I have gotten all I needed and nothing more satisfactory can come from pursuing things further. This has happened again and again to me until I realized that all of these subjects are just impractical when it comes to actually living life. Once I realized the impracticality of it all then I was no longer fascinated by anything at all. It was all a great disappointment. Everything became a deception that succeeded in deceiving everyone else, but me. Thanks so much for this. Really appreciated.
I have this placement (D1) and I thank you for putting out this very detailed lesson. I felt my consciousness resonating with your words throughout the video. Of all the videos I have watched so far, yours perfectly explained this tug-off war that goes on in my mind about modern science vs ancient wisdom, established religion vs self spirituality, herd mentality vs being a social outcast, upbringing vs self guided development, skill development vs conventional education, materialistic desires vs higher consciousness, fate vs freewill and worldly attachments vs outer body experiences. I have rahu with Venus in Swati nakshatra 3rd house and ketu in bharini 9th. It's dispositor Mars is in leo asc. While growing up I did not cared for the culture and traditions of my parents, but life put me in certain situations that I tested it and struggled and now I realise I do. But the question of balancing the energies and karma related to this placement of mine.

I had same position but I believe in god since childhood. In creased it's intensity with age. How can I apply. But i accept one analysis is correct. I had bad term with my father. Now I am running rahu mahardasha. Though my mind never accept them imy heart thirst for them. I always try to make them comfortable. And whenever they r in trouble I will at their services. Don't know. Innerly I had grudge at the same time I cannot see them in trouble. I used to clear all their trouble. When rahu mahadarsa came we came to a distance place from them. My son also has same position. Only thing is my rahu conjuncted with. Moon.
But for both of them myself and my son rahu in dhanus and meena rasi ketu in midhuna and karkataka rasi

I'd like to know more on how to balance it's energies. I have rahu with Venus in Swati nakshatra 3rd house and ketu in bharini 9th. It's dispositor Mars is in leo asc. While growing up I did not cared for the culture and traditions of my parents, but life put me in certain situations that I tested it and struggled and now I realise I do. But the question of balancing the energies and karma related to this placement of mine.
