Tank said in the press conference he’s gonna “take Martin out into the deep water and drown him”. That’s a good analogy because I see Tank as being like a shark and Martin a male lion. Both are mighty predators. It’s the environ they clash in that determines which falls victim to which. With all his antics, shenanigans, taunting etc Tank is trying to get Martin over emotional and angry like Duran did to Leonard their first fight. If Martin falls for it, then he’ll be like a lion in the middle of the ocean. Tank is right at home in that type environ, in chaos and anarchy. So Tank will eat him up like a shark then. But if Martin stays cool, logical, focused, determined and technical, he keeps the fight on land. Then Tank will be like a “fish out of water”, a shark stranded on the seashore. Then Martin will eat Tank alive like a lion. It all depends if Tank’s mind games are working as to who will win the fight. I don’t think it’s gonna work on Martin. Therefore, I predict either a 10th, 11th or 12th round stoppage or a decision win for Martin.

Martin is pretty much equal to Tank in every category, hand speed, quickness, even punching power I dare say. Tank has the edge on Martin in experience. But Martin has a height and reach advantage. Plus Martin hasn’t had as much wear and tear on him as Tank. Martin started boxing at 15 or 18. Tank is also mentally frazzled from all the things going on outside the ring, his rift with Floyd etc. Tank also is slurring his speech already which indicates he already has some slight punch drunkenness. Boxing is a game of milliseconds. And just milliseconds of a slow down can mean getting knocked out. Tanks been relying on his power overmuch lately.
