I remember that bridge! We went on a Broads holiday in the 70's. I also remember being very scared going across the Braden Water, it thought we were going out to sea! Lovely video!

That brings back memories of being on the broads picked boat up from wroxham. Then went under the bridge at potter higham.
Have been in the Acle Bridge and also went in one called The Bell , I think the restaurant was inside a converted kiln! All years ago though. Even further back when I was a bit of a lad any pubs dad tied up by had the obligatory Chicken & Chips in a basket & a pint of Prawns which you don't see anymore. Shame really but great vlog folks.
Yes we always had the chicken in a basket too!
It was The Acle Bridge Inn that had the restaurant in the old kiln...just checked. Very nice it was too.

Poppy seemed to be active with her barking comments! I don't know this part of the Broads so was interesting to see. The food looked very tasty. Take care on your travels, all 4 of you. Nice to see those Egyptian geese.
That brought back memories of our holiday in the 60’s and yes we got stuck under the dreaded Potter Heigham bridge ! no pilot in those days…. Really enjoying this trip thanks.

Aww this was brilliant, we were only reminiscing yesterday about a lovely family holiday we had on the broads and specifically the scrummy food we had from The Bridge at Acle I think maybe when Marco Pierre White owned it, maybe I’ve not remembered that correctly? Was the food still good? Thank you for sharing this, it’s been too long since we last went to Norfolk such a beautiful place and quieter than Cornwall 😎 x

Have the old red phone boxers been phased out and replaced now? I have some happy and romantic memories of those boxes when I was a kid going out with my first girlfriends... I guess everything changes :(
Hardly anyone uses them now, it's quite rare to see them.
