Another block will be created once it has reached full capacity. SHA-256 means Secure Hashing Algorithm & 256 is the amount of Zeroes and Ones it contains in the block. When the blocks are full, miners hash them. Miners add random numbers to solve calculations. Ledger is a record of transactions.
I'm confused about the need for block verification (3:19). If a block is hashed and there is consensus on that hash across the network, isn't that proof enough to validate the block?

Whiteboard Cypto is great, learnt ton of crytpo and defi knowlege from them. But for the blockchain concept, the animation can be improved a little bit. The blockchain is not a circle, the first block and the last block on chain won't chain to each other. Instead of a cricle, a blockchain should be a line. I think that will help the new comers to understand the blockchain concept more accurately.
