For Valentine’s Day my husband and I both worked. We ordered heart shaped pizza. I decorated a little valentines decor and bought us chocolate covered strawberries and heart shaped macaroons. My daughter had practice in the evening and that about all. 😅

My mom has always been big on valentines day with me and my brother maybe it can be a day on emphasis on the love in your family rather than in your relationship. Basically what you did with the family breakfast , or meal, and eventually you can get her treats and bears like how you get each other. Not only to romantisize her childhood and create good memories but set a good personal standard for herself( which ofc w yall as her prime example is already beautiful in itself ) but yes considering you guys have other days to celebrate love, it would be nice to have a day (other than a birthday) to specifically celebrate what your love created
