As a chronic pain sufferer I get it! That is a very pretty painting.. not sure it’s one I would buy but it I would have the guts to buy a mystery box and get that I would keep it 😂

I'm hoping this one gets released. It has a lot of meaning for me.... transitioning from chronic illness to a healthier life.❤❤❤ Going from the darkness of pain, exhaustion, ...working through limiting beliefs, victim identity, mindset, physical limitations, etc.... into a life of freedom, possibilities, belief in one's self, feeling alive and full of colour!

Glad you decided to keep it. Lol I ordered but my bank flagged it as suspicious and froze my card so by the time I got it worked out I ordered the next number box that didn't have the 2 kits I liked. I learned to buy gift cards around the holidays to use because the same thing happened at black friday. All good though. I'll either try to destash or maybe branch out and do a kit I usually wouldn't do.

Out of your box , the only one i would have kept is the Dragon. She is so cute! I am really looking forward to trying the perforated cover. I havent purchased anything since Black Friday :(

I’d like this one for the colors, but I won’t buy it unless DAC decides to release it outside the mystery box. I don’t want to spend an astronomical amount for it like people are asking in the destash groups. I know they’ve said they won’t, but they say that every time they release a mystery box. So we’ll see.

Color Out of Place is an AI artist. Copyright protection for AI works is evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine the extent of the work contributed by the human artist as the US federal court system has determined that copyrights do not apply to works generated by machine. The artist must be human. Also, it is still undetermined whether the use of copyrighted works to train an AI system is itself a copyright infringement. As an IP attorney, I believe that will eventually be determined an infringement as it is long-established law that the act of simply running a software program on a computer is a copyright violation as the act of loading the software into RAM creates a copy. To train an AI program, all the training data must be copied into memory. I would not treat this piece as any other copyrighted or licensed piece of art that is legitimately created by a human artist. It is quite disturbing that so many people have gone nuts over this piece and either are unaware that it is AI or don't care. I have been fooled into buying a few pieces of AI art myself because I thought certain companies legitimately licensed all the artwork on their sites from real artists. Now I know to check each artist.
