You should check out the armed shark 75wt oil or the 15wt which is the thinner
Carbon honey is almost a must for balisongs on steel washer. If It's dry then you are basically sanding the washer and bushing. That's why I love carbon honey, graphene is good at lubricating these areas when the pviot is little bit dry, prevent that from happening.
Unless a floating washer system is used, the washer doesn’t actually sand the bushing and vice versa. The pivots, washers, and bushings become one connected component which the blade can move freely around. The washer and bushing move together, so they cannot physically sand each other down
where do you get the bushings for the conversion on your orca/monarch?
Really enjoy ur vids bro its nice to have another english flipper making good content keep up the grind :)
thanks man will do
10:13 this cracked me up 😂
Garbon honey is the best, aside from that canto would be the best if it wasnt for the fact that its functionally unobtainable lol
i wouldn’t mind NRB thick but getting it isn’t possible without proxy here
My lube/oil is from a motorbike store and just a general store that sells oil. It was 2$/100ml. I think its worth it. Also BBKS still has some telestos since you like fans and blade bias. I thought it would interest you
i use 3in1 oil from a local car part store and it works great but needs to be reapplied very often
I use a 3:1 ratio, Superlube to carbon honey thick, and it works greats for my serif and opus.
may need to try this in another of those bottles
I've also found Carbon Honey Thick to be a little too viscous, especially in the winter. Now I specifically save my Carbon Honey for use in the summer when it runs a little thinner from the heat. I had the same issue with KPL heavy, so I mixed it with some regular KPL to thin it out for the perfect consistency.
I sometimes also use mineral oil as a food grade lube on it's own as well as a neutral mixer that has less of a chance to react with other oils (some oils have weird additives and results in precipitated solids/graininess when mixed, which looks like what's happening with the Baliplus lube).
for £2 i can’t complain about the b+ lube but thanks for the insight it’s very useful. i wonder how CH medium would fare, perhaps it’s the best of both worlds
I use the Super Lube 51004 and have been very happy with it. Not so thin that you have to reapply it constantly but, not so thick that it affects play. Good stuff. Honestly, I haven't tried a whole lot of other blade lubes but, I've tried different oils and the 51004 mix of Super Lube works fantastic for me.
thanks for sharing
I use the PTFE Super Lube and mix in graphite so it continues to lubricate and protect once the PTFE gets spun out of the pivots.
great idea
where did you buy graphite from or did you just use a pencil
Have you tried the di gaboon I would love to know your thoughts considering you like the real gaboon. Also have you tried Rem oil ?
should be trying di gaboon in future
haven’t tried rem oil
It's a gun oil I believe Rem being short for Remington. It is a strange oil for sure. I heard about it from djeyelesspyro.
firearm oil works well for balisongs since it’s synthetic although it might not last super long
Where can I buy carbon honey?
they have a website on google
Nah super lube for aluminum and blue lube for titanium.
don’t even get me started on price of bench made blue outside of US. i still stand by CH being one of the best
@@taktyc agree, but carbon honey is overpriced in my country due to taxes:
Super: ~$4/10ml
Blue: $5/10ml
Honey is about $14/10ml as I remember, so the price is just not match the performance of it.
